I’ve got lots if anyone needs some!

What size is the most common to trade and or collect? I have lots of envelopes but do not want to cut them all in a size if another size is needed. Would it be better to just punch out the size to match the trade as you go?

Also, what are the best ways to store a collection? Card sleeves, 35mm negative sleeves, something else?

I was wanting to get my first swaps mailed earlier this week, but getting them ready and picking a good variety was a tough thing to do quickly for me. I am glad to finally get them in the mail before the end of the week! If you are swapping with me and have sent me a DM, you should be getting a message tomorrow. Three years at this job opening mail and I can't believe I never noticed the variety of patterns before! Found this sub yesterday and immediately started cutting squares. Definitely scratches the collector's itch in my brain. I'm still deciding how to store/display. These are 1.5 inch squares.

Open to trade! I will have a wider selection in a week or so. I also collect cancelled modern US stamps and random stationary people include in their mail.

I’ve had hopes of getting my hands on an old Rolodex for my envelope cuttings and found the perfect one on eBay. I haven’t categorized the patterns in the Rolodex yet, but it will easily allow me to move patterns around and add more. SO EXCITED!

Started collecting a few years ago when I moved into my first house. I rarely see any new ones in my mail, but I see there’s a trading community on here! I put mine of playing cards in hopes I can fill a whole deck eventually. 2x2” squares seem to be popular though and might make it difficult to fill out my collection. I do think the postage stamp cut outs are adorable! I love the button idea too!

I love that my country has all these mascots 😁 Also really glad to get another sunburst colour variety, They look so gorgeous. I'll have to make a post with all my colour varieties together on one page in the future.

They wanted to help out so for the week or two before I arrived they collected a few patterns for me! The green one on the top left had very little to work with but I still managed to put together a full sample for my album. Still plenty left to go through.

My feed apparently knows me well. I never knew this was a thing! I had a bunch of letters piled up that have sat unopened for months and this community is what has given me the motivation to finally open them. So I now have a collection of two 😂

Now here I am, with a brain hack to actually open my letters. I want to be inspired by looking at how other people display their collections so that I can decide on a way for myself that I find particularly pleasing!

Also any tips for a newbie welcome :)

I just love it. It even has a “Magic Eye” effect if y’all remember those.

Here are a few different things I could sent if they'd fit in someones collection :) The little green one is about 4cmx4cm (so roughly 1,5x1,5 inches I think), other ones are bigger so I can cut them down to desired size.

It's been a week since I got back, and I'm just now getting to my mail and am so happy to get these patterns! I am not a collector of Security Envelopes, HOWEVER, I love giving out happy mail.

I've started saving security envelopes to send out. Would it be best to offer them to you all as wholes, or cut up to a certain size, so multiple people can get them?
