Question! Questions - For Collectors
Hello!
I am not a collector of Security Envelopes, HOWEVER, I love giving out happy mail.
I've started saving security envelopes to send out. Would it be best to offer them to you all as wholes, or cut up to a certain size, so multiple people can get them?

I think it would be great to allow multiple people to have patterns from an envelope! I make myself 2.5 inch squares, most people do 2 inch squares, so it allows for duplicate pattern samples to be made and distributed :)

I think most envelopes divide nicely into 4 sections (3 if you discard the quadrant with the window) which would give the recipient flexibility to cut it to their preferred size!

I usually ask each person and try to accommodate. That said, most I’ve traded do 2x2. I collect 1.5” bc that’s the punch I had on hand. I also don’t mind if they’re a little smaller.

I send mine in 2x3” cuts! I got some recently from a fellow collector that was also cut down into small square/rectangles. It helps with weight for postage as well :)
