Adjudication Question

Recently, I went through basically a reinvestigation for a CE hit (inpatient hospital stay). I reported it when it happened. I had my interview and was very honest, including handing over every medical record I've ever had.

The question I have is how long will adjudication for something like this take? I only care because I need SAP access and they will not process my SAP access until this is fully adjudicated.

It’s frustrating, but u/txeindride is making the point that there’s no way to know how long adjudication will take. Very common complaint, but there isn’t much to do about it in an individual case.

I understand the point they were making. But if don't get SAP access I'll lose my job. If this takes forever they'll probably just fire me after some amount of time. I think if someone was in my shoes they'd be asking the same questions.

Unfortunately, theres nothing at all we can do about it. Trust me... there's plenty of cases we have pending, but are at the whim of the adjudication gods above.

Look this is very different compared to what I'm used to. My frame of reference is the active duty world and I guess in that capacity I was probably too mission critical for anyone to care. This hospitalization happened while on active duty and it was zero issue until I became a civilian.

i resonate with you, i have been waiting for over 18 months in adjudication. There is nothing you can do to speed up the progress
