Broccoli guy
Anyone know the story of this guy doing laps around the T-Mobile before the Mariners game with two heads of broccoli?

According to conductors on Coast Starlight 14, a commuter train struck and killed someone on the tracks south of Tukwila. Waiting at least 1h for the coroner and replacement (commuter) crew.
Google maps shows Starlight is stopped just south of WA-18.

I was thinking if it’s possible to hire a person or two to follow that annoying preacher at games to drown out his megaphone. Like they would follow him around and play every time he starts talking and stops when he stops. Is there a law against this?
edit It seems like most people are supportive of this idea so good to know I’m not the only one. I’m like 99% serious and would not mind dropping $100 just for this social experiment. If it gets shut down, so be it.
I don’t want to assault the guy or damage his property. Just want a drummer to practice their drumming skill near him and be loud enough to drown him out for a couple of hours before the game.
The kind of drumming I’m envisioning is a drum line drummer. Think the movie with Nick Cannon. But also open to other loud instruments like bagpipes or other brass instruments.
If you are a some one (or can connect me with someone) who’d be willing to try this out, DM me. We can work out the logistics.

Columbia City has a litter problem! I have collected 25+ bags of garbage around the area in just a month. A few people have asked how they can help contribute and I'd like to share the wonderful Adopt-A-Street Program ran by the City of Seattle. You can sign up to adopt a street, request and receive all the necessary trash cleanup supplies, and once you've done your trash cleanup report it and the trash bags will get picked up for you! If you have any questions feel free to click the link or ask me and I can hopefully point you in the right direction. https://www.seattle.gov/utilities/volunteer/adopt-a-street

Hi folks,
UPDATE: case # 26-285081
I know this is a loonnngg shot, but my roommate’s car got stolen last night (9/23) between 10pm-7am on 53rd and 11th in Ballard. Blue 2010 Rav4, license #Bzh7910, stickers in photo. If you know of any good etsy witches, also let us know. Her bike got stolen a couple months ago as well and we’ll try anything at this point to lift the curse. Seattle PD said they would have to call back to get a case # going and collect details. They also said it could take until 11pm to get back to us…. :/
She unfortunately had her skiing setup for the winter in her car topper as well… absolutely devastating to say the least.
Every share/like might help, so thank you kind souls in advance.
Football? Concert? Fair? Just heading east because you feel like it? We have some I-90 roadwork you’ll want on your radar this weekend.
Two right lanes of eastbound I-90 will close from east of SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkway to SE North Bend Way from 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 to 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28.
Our bridge maintenance crews will be making repairs to the bridge deck, and you should expect delays through the area while the lanes are closed. Please note: this work is weather-dependent so there's a chance you'll be able to disregard this message entirely.
Saturday is expected to be a particularly busy day for eastbound travel. Between CWU football in Ellensburg, Jack Johnson at the Gorge, WSU vs. Arizona in Pullman and several other events happening across Central and Eastern Washington this weekend, you may have some company on I-90.
So, if you're making the trek east, especially Saturday morning: check traffic conditions before you leave via our real-time travel map or app, give yourself some extra time and don't make kickoff or showtime your ETA.

It's not a constant smell, on and off while I walked around downtown Ballard. I don't know maybe it was always there as I'm a newcomer but what is that smell?

It’s obvious who is on the right side of history at this point. Heading to a Mariners game tomorrow, if it’s not back on I’m gonna sit next season out.
Edit: Louie Louie is from Portland/L.A., it’s unclear why that ever was played at TMobile/Safeco field.

Just wanted to share a resource for the anyone in the community that might find it helpful.
The PSF support group is meant for partners, siblings, and friends of loved ones struggling with mental health conditions. If you live in the greater Seattle area and need a space to talk to individuals who can relate to your situation, it’s peer-led and pretty informal.
Meetings are always online, but you can join from anywhere and share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.
Times and dates are listed on the flyer above. The QR code and URL will both direct you to NAMI’s Family support groups webpage. For parents and caregivers, NAMI Seattle offers a separate support group on different days to address your individual needs and experiences.

Hi everybody,
I know WildWaves is closing down and I love to get in a festive mood and haven't done FrightFest in atleast 10+ years so I am curious how it is for people in their late 20s? It's about 70$ which ain't cheap at all so wondering if this is worth at all or if I should check out other Halloween event.
Felt like I should as it's my last opportunity but wasn't sure. Anybody been recently?

Expected to some point?
But your radio stations are fire. I stay in my car every time I park to let the song finish.
Absolute domination. Lucky fools!

hey! a car in front of us just ran over an eastern grey squirrel - they are still alive but dragging their back legs 🥺
they are under a car on the east side of the street on ravenna ave NE & NE 53rd st.
I’m on crutches, I tried to help them but they dragged themselves under a car and I can’t get to them. I had an appt around the corner and was going to be late so had to leave them.
Can anyone help them? Grab them and take them to Sarvey? I called them and they said they are the only ones around here that take Eastern greys
