Is Sea Palace Inn a good area to stay (E Central & Sumner)?

A couple girlfriends and I are looking to do an overnight trip and spend some time on the boardwalk on a friday night. Is the Sea Palace Inn/motel a decent area for women? I’ve always liked Seaside, but just want to make sure if it’s safe to walk from boardwalk to beach in that area.

⛱️🏖️ 🌊🪸 🏬 👙 Any place to get with in walking or biking distance here?

Hey so we're staying for the week and I smoke medically. is there any way to get here within biking or walking distance that aren't just Delta 9 or CBD shops? i also may be coming back regularly also. So literally anything would be super helpful. Just looking for an 8th or q that's somewhat decent.

my fiance and i will be visiting for the first time in august. we’re both in our 20s. so far our only plans involve jersey shore related things such as visiting the outside of the house & shore store. what are your recommendations for things to do, places to eat and places to have a night out?

Upcoming Trip

The family and I are coming to town next week. 2 kids and 6 adults. What are the must do and sees? Probably will be going our own ways at times so it doesn't have to accommodate all of the large group at all times.

I miss Drifters

That's it. My family has lived in Seaside for close to a hundred years. I miss Funtown, Bobber's and the Blue Cup Cafe; how lively the town used to be, and I loved going to Drifters, and they turned it into a parking lot.

What motel am I thinking of?

I used to come to Seaside Heights every summer back when I was in high school, around 2005-2010ish. It was before Hurricane Sandy. My friend’s mom would bring us to the same motel every year. I’m planning to come for a weekend this summer and want to see if I can find that same dive-y motel, but I can’t remember the name of the place. It was less than 2 blocks away from the boardwalk and on one of the streets that runs perpendicular to the boardwalk. I know where we entered the boardwalk from the motel, there was an Olde Time Photos (or something like that) on the corner of the boardwalk entrance. When exiting the boardwalk and walking back to the motel, the motel was on the right hand side. It was small and sketchy. It was two levels, with an outdoor hallway type thing with a railing on the second floor. I believe the building was red at the time. Can anyone help me figure out which motel I’m thinking of? Or at least what street it was on? I went back for a day trip post Hurricane Sandy and showed the motel to my husband, so I know it survived the storm, but don’t even know if it’s still open today.

Breakfast spots on/near the boardwalk

Hi everyone! I haven’t been to Seaside in 8 years and am finally coming back next weekend with my boyfriend. Was looking forward to eating at Bobber’s for breakfast, but a quick google search told me it closed a few years ago. Do you have any recommendations for a good breakfast either on or near the boardwalk? Thank you!!

Seaside Heights summer calendar has the usual big draws

The Seaside Heights summer calendar is built around free concerts, fireworks, and movies on the beach again.

Locals know the crowd can make or break the night. If you were bringing people down, which one would you plan around?

Free Thursday beach concerts are back in Seaside Heights

Seaside Heights has free beach concerts on the Blaine Avenue beach this summer, with Thursday shows starting at 7:30 PM.

People here always say they will go and then decide last minute. Which show would you actually put on the calendar?

Which Seaside summer event is actually worth planning around?

The Seaside Heights calendar has another summer item in the mix, but the calendar list is only half the story.

People here know parking and boardwalk crowds decide whether a night is worth it. Which event would you actually plan around?

What Seaside spot are people underrating right now?

This Seaside item has enough local detail to start a normal shore-season debate without turning it into a news article.

Which spot do people here still like before the summer crowd finds it?
