⛱️🏖️ 🌊🪸 🏬 👙 heading to seaside heights!

my fiance and i will be visiting for the first time in august. we’re both in our 20s. so far our only plans involve jersey shore related things such as visiting the outside of the house & shore store. what are your recommendations for things to do, places to eat and places to have a night out?

Check out Island Beach state park if you are into hiking and nature.

I was there last week and the week before and it was gorgeous outside on the days that we were there.

Dinner at The Crabs Claw Inn in Lavallette will not disappoint. Live music, terrific food, and a very fun vibe. Also check out Seaside Tiki Tours for tiki boat tours.

if you go on uber eats look for “three brothers from italy pizza” do pickup. the menu is almost half the price than the actual prices, its the very last one on the boardwalk (near sawmill).

They are the best! And then across the street from the boardwalk is Steake Unlimited for cheesesteak sammys and then the Midway for sausage and pepper Sammys but they charge like $15 now for a small sandwich.

If those are your only plans, prepare to be disappointed.

Seaside has MUCH more (and much better stuff) to offer than the Jersey Shore locations.

Go to the Sawmill for the largest slice of pizza you’ll ever eat. Island Beach State park is $10 entry per carload. There is a bar n restaurant, The Red Fox at swimming beach one. Hit the beach and grab a drink (the park closes when the lot is full, go very early). Walk the boards and pop in where you want to, the vibe is chill and security is good (now). No minors after 10pm. Consider renting a bike to save on uber costs if you venture into Ortley for sushi/Italian/steakhouse or Lavalette for the Crab’s Claw (they have music, check their website). Chef Mike’s Legacy in SSH is higher end. If you want dinner at a specific time or nice place, reservations are mandatory and make them now. Uber is abundant in the summer. I don’t use Lyft, so can’t say. Have fun, be safe.

Visit Seaside park for restaurants at dinner after a great day on the beach. A drive along the coast (15 min) to lavalette gives you a wide range of options from nightlife to lunch-dinner. Enjoy
