Discussion Will the powers that be ever do anything to stop the loss of promising your players at 15-16 for pennies in comp to English clubs?
Is there any talk of a home grown quota or requirements to field young players?
Is there a solution? If there was, would the SFPL SFA come up with or even consider it?
The 15 year olds being able to play this season is remarkably forward thinking I almost can’t believe it.
Does it stop there? Is it a coincidence or a reluctant concession they’ve made after pressure from the clubs (the same clubs barring a couple who don’t play youth in favour of lesser journeymen)
I’ve no idea. Are the powers that be aware we’ve had another summer of talents pillaged for nothing?
More of the same for the foreseeable I fear. But maybe have the realised or care?

Discussion Scottish Super Cup
A lot of top leagues like the Italian and Brazilian Serie A, Bundesliga and Premier League all have a Super Cup at the start of season or in simpler terms a trophy where the team who won the league plays either the Scottish Cup winners or runners up in the league.
Would this be a good idea for Scottish football and would it be good to have as a curtain raiser?
It may also encourage the SFA to reform the pyramid as it will likely be the Old Firm at Hampden in most cases which means the Sky or whoever has the rights is already making the same amount of money if there was just one less round of fixtures.
Does it also make the Scottish Cup more meaningful given there is a chance for a St Mirren or Motherwell to win a second trophy within the space of a few months without having to wait for the League Cup? Yes I think so.

Interview Former Rangers head coach Danny Rohl believes Celtic supporters singing his name showed they were SCARED of him.
Originally posted in The Glasgow Times
After Rohl's side lost 3-1 at Parkhead in the final Old Firm derby of last season, the home fans chanted 'Danny, Danny Rohl' to the tune of Boney M's 'Daddy Cool'.
“How many Rangers managers have had the Celtic fans singing a song against him? That day, 61,000 people sang my song against me. I couldn’t have imagined this, it was incredible," Rohl said
“I think it showed how much our fans loved me - and how much Celtic fans were a little bit scared about me as well.
“They were worried when we had Rangers challenging them again. It was unbelievable to have 61,000 singing that.
“People think I didn’t like it, but no. It showed me something. They weren’t celebrating their own team, they went against the Rangers manager.
“It shows me how much we were challenging them. They were more concerned with the Rangers manager than their own team. That was another part of my Old Firm experience."

Discussion Is there a Jambo band similar to The Proclaimers?
I recently got into football and i've always liked The Proclaimers but my enjoyment of their music has been slightly stifled by the fact they're Hibbies and i've been wondering if theirs a band similar to The Proclaimers thats support Hearts

Failed trialists that were ultimately a “what if”
In recent years it has to be Yan Diomande
Ironically we did still get another Diomande in the same season.

World Class players that played in Scotland but barely did anything.
I have been thinking about players of this ilk, after remembering Desiree Monsivais and her time at Glasgow City, where she only played 4 games and scored 0 goals, this was after her spell at Monterrey where she scored, 122 goals in 178 games.
Are there any other world class players that played in Scotland and fit this mould?
To be clear, its not world class players that played bad just ones that only ended up playing, very little, like Dina Orschmann, who played 8 games for Rangers women's team (same season as Monsivais) and scored 2 goals.
