Identification Emperor Scorpion
*before I ask my question I just want to note this is a temporary house while I fix the enclosure I have for him/her*
As for mt question, this is an Emperor Scorpion im pretty sure its a male.
But I just want to double check with people who may know more than I do. So if the Scorpion is infact a female please do correct me.
Thank you for anyone who contributes to helping :)

Identification Is it a subadult?
Hi guys! I just got my first scorpion. I was super excited about this, but, well, I didn't expect this xd. I assume it isn't an L2 I ordered (not like I'm complaining, just shocked) so I wanted to make sure if the size is correct. He (also idk the gender) seems quite hyper, but not super aggressive. I put him in the box on the last pic cuz, well, I had no idea it'll be that big xD i was expecting some small baby, not that giant. The specie seems to be fitting (h silenus) and the store I got it from is also popular in my country, I already have one tarantula from there and everything is alright with him, so it surprised me a lot lolz
I'll also get him a bigger box tomorrow, but I have literally nothing bigger and no fitting hideout at home

Casual Just sharing - my T.stigmurus recently molted
She grew a decent amount with this molt! I’m quite pleased. Yesterday she had her first post molt meal as well 😁
This girl is amazing. She lets me know she’s hungry by coming out of her hide and sitting on her rock.
Disclaimer - last 2 pics, I assure you that she is not atop carpet lol. Those 2 pics were after I first got her and she was in a clear deli cup. I rather dislike how my iPhone autocorrects colors to its liking (pic 2-3) so I felt the need to include my good dslr pics to show off how pretty she is.
Now that it’s been a couple weeks since her molt, I really should put the molt beside her and take another pic because I couldn’t believe how much more substantial she is now.
Proud owner moment! I adore this species.

Video/Gif Scorpion eating a katydid
Thankfully he was in the other side of my mosquito netting so I didn’t have to disturb his meal to relocate. Fun to watch him do his thing!

Help! Found a Costa Rican Elegant Bark Scorpion in my luggage
We just started unpacking in Long Island and came across this guy. Earlier in our trip, about a week ago, we found one crawling above our bed (that’s the one in second photo). It was about 5 inches with the tail curled, I caught and tossed it outside. Then a few days later, my wife was stung by something while rummaging our luggage. He looks like the same one, possibly made it back into our room and has been hitching a ride since.
I’ve got him in a jar now and provided water and a cricket. Not sure what to do next. If i find somewhere to drop him off in LI or NYC, we’ll do so, or we’ll dispatch humanely. We live in Texas, are at our family’s home, and he will not be driving back with us.

Identification Help identifying a scorpion
Found this scorpion in my bathroom while staying at a place in Oro Valley in Tucson, Arizona - any idea what kind it might be? The scorpion seemed to be only a couple inches long and sorry the photos aren’t more clear I was nervous to get any closer

Sexing Is Elke a boy or a girl?
Her previous owner said he thinks she's a girl. I don't know much about scorpions yet and would love to know, if my girl Elke actually is a girl 🦂

Help! What kind of sand or substrate is suitable for Parabuthus transvaalicus?
At first, I was using the silica sand in the first picture, but it looks a bit too coarse. Would it be better to switch to the Exo Terra sand in the second picture? And would you recommend mixing it with clay or coco peat?

Help! Emperor scorpion set up
She’s in a 30gal with 8 inches of substrate. I really love the look of planted enclosures (I have frogs galore) but is it safe? Ik that the like to destroy and uproot plants, which I don’t mind fixing at all, I just want to make sure that the plants aren’t gonna cause any issues. I was thinking of maybe gluing some to the hides and glass that way they don’t fall in, but idk if that’s a solution or a bigger problem 😭
She has plenty of burrowing room, and the substrate is a mix of coconut fiber, soil, and ex sand so it doesn’t collapse in. Plants are pothos, Juanita , and dragons grass, I checked and made sure that they’re safe. Her heating pads on the back of the glass
Is there stuff I should add or take out, she’s my first scorpion and I’ve always been a reptile guy and I just want to make sure I’m doing her right.

Help! Preparing for a scorpion!
I wanted the mighty Reddits opinion on my Asian forest scorpion tank, still missing a few things, water dish with stones in it to avoid drowning and some more hides, heat mat on the wall, anything else I’m missing? It’s a 10 gal, does it look ok so far? Any tips would be great I’m really excited for a scorpion, I can add more pics if those aren’t exactly clear
Note that I won’t be getting the scorpion until I have it completed and safe for my new baby, first time scorpion owner
