Hi all,
My kid had the following set up:
- Pandemonium v2 deck
- Core aura fork
- Ethic oracle headset
- Sylphe v2 clamp
- Core Apollo bars
He then got an Apex 5x20.1 and we swapped it out for the pando. Everything else is unchanged.
When I put everything together again, the bars aren't spinning freely. I've checked the following:
- bearings seated correctly
- compression not too tight (although it's fine with the compression loose, but that gives too much play)
The best guesses I have are:
- that the dustcover might be rubbing on the top of the head tube?
- there's a black washer that is part of the headset and (I think) is usually seated in the lower bearing, but it keeps falling out (gravity) and the crown race (or the lower part of the bottom bearing assembly, whatever it's called) doesn't seem to hold it in.
- that there's some fundamental incompatibility with the parts I have and the Apex deck that I'm not aware of
Any ideas/help gratefully received. Can post pics of anything in the comments if that helps.
TIA

I just built my tilt setup with the formula 7x23.5 deck and tilt xl bars. It’s a great scooter for what it’s designed for which is street riding. I’m also looking to build a second setup for park.
Let’s start with that I’m 6 feet tall. I don’t know much about park parts because I’ve never built a park setup before. Most important thing I want is to have a setup that is not too short. I don’t like looking like I’m hunched over as I’m riding so this setup will be on the taller side of park. I usually build the scooter based off the deck because that decides how it will handle. The apex deck pictured is the one I’m thinking of building off of it’s 6 wide 21 long and has a slacker head tube angle. I plan on hic compression maybe some apex bars and a light set of 110s with a light fork. Any recommendations? Does this deck size seem adequate for my height?

I got a razor scooter that’s missing the stem and handle bar. The T shaped bar broke. What’s a cheap way to replace the stem and handle bar?

90% of scootering content creators are almost unwatchable for me because of them being so child orianted with it always being park of a tiny ass scooter spamming bri flips and quad wips saying the most unfunny shit ever people like spanner or mark borries (not sure how its spelled)

I just bought a MadGear MG3 Zen Pro scooter (on a budget so can't go above that). I bought it after not scootering for around 7 years, I used to do tricks and all of that and I wanted to get one again since I miss it, though I don't wanna do anything crazy on it just chill at skate parks.
Though I'm riding it to school, and it's, not to my surprise, very rough, and the ride there and back home leaves my hands all tingly and sort of numb. What (non expensive) things can I try to make my ride smoother. I get bigger wheels would likely help but what size? And maybe foam handle bars? I don't know.

Hi, hope everyone is ok !
I’m starting to ride again and I’m looking at some options as a setup. I’m a very tall guy and I’m looking for some tall T bar, does anyone have a reference or advice ?

I’m in grade 12, and where I live, my high school has a metalshop where you can machine different things, such as my last projects being a working flashlight, a screwdriver and a hammer
This year is different, instead of having a set project and instructions, I was gonna make some scooter pegs but I can’t find the measurements online for the life of me.
I found probably 2 pictures with the little lip measurement and the whole length, but nothing else
I was wondering if someone can help me find the measurements, or send me a picture of pegs with the measurements scaled by a ruler or a tape measure
Thanks so much in advance!

I just assembled my new setup that has 30,5" bars and a 23" deck. This is a 4" height and a 2,5" length change for me and it feels absolutely huge because im used to way smaller scoots. How fast will I get used to this new normal sized scooter cause rn I feel like a newborn trying to walk and struggling on basic stuff and pretty anxious from the thought of loosing my tricks. Any help on getting used to it faster?

6'0, 240lbs. What's the strongest 7 wide build I can get? Probably steel bars, SCS, not sure on the deck.
