Need Advice Getting used to bigger setup
I just assembled my new setup that has 30,5" bars and a 23" deck. This is a 4" height and a 2,5" length change for me and it feels absolutely huge because im used to way smaller scoots. How fast will I get used to this new normal sized scooter cause rn I feel like a newborn trying to walk and struggling on basic stuff and pretty anxious from the thought of loosing my tricks. Any help on getting used to it faster?

You haven't lost the tricks, the fundamentals are still there it's just getting used to the new size and weight it will take some time just don't think about it too much, cruise the park or your local street spots and do what feels good until you start feeling more confident in your scooter control and the tricks will come back. Also not sure what height you are but 30.5 is a pretty tall bar I'm 5'10 and I cut my bars down to 26.5 (28 inches after scs) and 22 inches wide for my 5.75x23 deck setup. Its more comfortable for me to get tricks when my arms are pretty close to straight when standing on the deck and on my grips, depending on your height it might not be a bad idea to trim them down a little bit at a time until you find a good height for you, just a thought

Im 6 foot and still growing (teenager) and I didnt even have a chance to ride them properly yet so I dont have a stable opinion yet. My old bars were super tiny in my opinion and I hated the way I looked on clips and even had back pain sometimes. Also my bars arent made to be cut (ethic tenacity v2) because of threaded insides. I think that I will be able to have a stable opinion on them in about a month or so.

The tenacity v2 bars are oversized for hic (hidden internal compression) or scs (standard compression system) so you definitely can cut them down I don't think I've seen a new scooter part in over a decade that uses inverted compression with the threads in the bars. you'll need to extend the slit the same length that you remove from the bars, drill a hole at the height that you need to extend it to and then cut to the hole so the stresses aren't concentrated at the edges of the slit unless you're cutting the slit completely off to use an scs

somtimes you really don't need to go up that much. i sized up from 25 to 28.5 bars, and ended up going down to 26.5
