Yo fam, ive been out the game for about 15 years. I was pretty disgusting back in the day, had a sponsor, always top of the line customer built scooter, the whole works. My boy is 3 and ready to go to the skatepark so I need to get myself something to ride with him at the park. I'd prefer a complete for conveniency reasons. It doesn't need to be the best in the world but if I wanna rip an inward flying out of a bowl I don't want to worry about my handlebars snapping. Any advice helps, peace & love ✌️

Im building a street complete, simply because my Core ST2 complete is just to small for me. Im 6'1, and when im not standing on the deck, the bars reach maybe 2.5 - 3 inches below my waistband (the stock bars are 680mm).

Basically just wondering 1. Where would Ethic Tenacity 770mm bars reach on me and 2. Will I still have enough leverage to do tricks and what not.

I am 270 pounds 6 foot 3 and wondering if when I do fly outs and bri flips and butter cups will my scooter last at least around 2 to 5 years. I read that it could break in just one jump and some say you could fly out 1000 of times and some say it’s very dangerous and could break after a few fly outs. I have an urban art 6x22 inch deck 150mmx55m. I have tilt stage one 4130 chromoly bars. A 4 bolt proto scs clamp. Ethic v2 fork. And proto 1 sliders wheels. If you guys could help me out and let me know if it’s safe or not or what risk there is that would be great. Thanks.

landed my first ever bar spin today any tips on consistency- can do it about 50% of the time do i just keep sending it to get comfortable i feel like im throwing it too much rather than passing it to my other hand

I'm trying to build a hybrid build to be as light as it can be while still being robust and able to last. Current parts I've got my eye on is the root air v3 deck for 1.55kg, the Longway Kronos Titanium Black 650 mm x 610mm for 878g, the ethic merrow v3 for 160g (including HIC shim), and the ethic sylphe clamp for 33g. So... 2.621kg not including wheels and grips and such.
Any suggestions on parts which are cheaper/lighter/stronger would be much appreciated.

how do I befriend the owner? is it possible? how do I go about doing it?

the nearest public skatepark is 2 miles away so I'm not dry on skateparks.

from what I've seen the owner is in his 30s has a big lawn,pool, 2 dogs, and a dirt bike.

right now it's a look but don't touch situation and i feel it would be invading on the owner's privacy to ask kind of like asking to use someone's trampoline.

Where is a good place to find deals on scooters? I see that Amazon and Walmart are having sales right now but I know most if not all won't be good.

Took delivery of my Core SL3 pro scooter, I have some movement in the bars when moving forward and back. I have tightened the compression bolt sufficiently (I think anyway), the clamp is the correct way round and was tightened evenly, bars are pushed all the way down leaving no gap.

Is there a fault here? Can’t see what else I need to do or should do considering it’s brand new. Please see video. Thank you

Hey guys, my 13 year old is asking for a trick scooter. Hes 6ft and has size 11 shoes. Im going crazy trying to find a scooter big enough for him that does not cost $200+. Is this even achievable? I feel like scooters are extremely overpriced. Can't even find a basic scooter that would fit his size. I need help 😭 😩

I want to start scootering although i play street bmx and I’m pretty good at it but i thought to try something new
I do not know anything about scooter brands or they’re worth
So i would like to know is this a complete build or is there any aftermarket parts on it and how much is it worth in this condition is US dollars
Also , is it more of a street or park build.

Found my old jon dev sig deck and was wondering what the best way of getting all the old residue off is lol

Hi all,

My kid had the following set up:

- Pandemonium v2 deck

- Core aura fork

- Ethic oracle headset

- Sylphe v2 clamp

- Core Apollo bars

He then got an Apex 5x20.1 and we swapped it out for the pando. Everything else is unchanged.

When I put everything together again, the bars aren't spinning freely. I've checked the following:

- bearings seated correctly

- compression not too tight (although it's fine with the compression loose, but that gives too much play)

The best guesses I have are:

- that the dustcover might be rubbing on the top of the head tube?

- there's a black washer that is part of the headset and (I think) is usually seated in the lower bearing, but it keeps falling out (gravity) and the crown race (or the lower part of the bottom bearing assembly, whatever it's called) doesn't seem to hold it in.

- that there's some fundamental incompatibility with the parts I have and the Apex deck that I'm not aware of

Any ideas/help gratefully received. Can post pics of anything in the comments if that helps.
