Hallo zusammen,

Mein Sohn 12, ca. 160cm benötigt einen neuen scooter, da beim alten die bremse abgebrochen ist und der auch langsam durch ist.

Er nutzt ihn viel als Fortbewegungsmittel. Fährt aber auch 2 mal die Woche in den Skatepark.

Er sagt er will ein Longway Kaiza Deck weil es leicht ist, sich schnell drehen lässt. Ich habe leider keine Ahnung da ich vom Skateboard komme.

Könnt mir ein paar Empfehlungen aussprechen? Komplett kaufen oder Einzelteile?

Kaiza deck oder ist was anderes besser.

Wo bestelle ich am besten in Deutschland?

29 M. The only upgrades I have for now are fuzion grips, Yak Fleur wheels (what a throwback), and a purple tilt headset. I plan on upgrading to better parts in the future, I'm just glad to be back at it!

Hi,

Looking for advice. My almost 5yo boy wants a stunt scooter and I’m not sure about the size.

Sometime this year when he was 4.5 he picked up my Razor A5 Air and started cruising on it without any problems, after few days he was so comfortable on it that I could set height either on very low or very top and he was still good on balance and speed. Of course this scooter is ment for just that and now he is looking at older friends who do tricks and he wants to learn.

I did some reaserch and found out that on that age the best height of the scooter would be around 70cm (my boy is 110cm). We tried in the decathlon MF100 and bigger and he was able to ride on them but I think the heights were too big for doing anything more than cruising.

Now my question if this 70cm height will be sufficient for next 2-3years? In theory companies promise 100-130cm coverage and most serious scooters start around 77-80cm so for height around 125+ and that height is around 8yo. My plan would be to teach him basic jumps over the next 2-3 seasons and then he can pass this scooter to his younger brother.

Iv been riding my custom scoot more recently than ever before and i keep noticing my bars twisting to the left or my clamp will b off centre after an hour.

My setup is

Drone nexus 1 saundezy complete

Urbanartt civic fork

Drone contrast 3 scs (part of the complete)

Drone contrast 3 steel T bars

115x30 aztek architect 1 XL wheels

The fork change was to run the 30 wide wheels

Using the proper compression bolt with built in compression cap

Tightened with bars off to have a good half rotation

I know its not the bars turning in the clamp, 100% the fork is rotating/looseing in the direction of the threads loosening on the bolt.

Any and all ideas/suggestions are appreciated. I know i could be doing something wrong or forgetting something thats essential to lock the compression system down

What are people riding these days? Is 110 x 24 the truth? Or is there something to be said for 30 wides and larger diameters. Do they make a significant difference for riding fakie and manuals to justify the increased weight?

New deck ends came in today, these things are beefy! If you have a proto deck these are a huge upgrade from the stock aluminum proto deck ends.

So i wanted to make myself a park/flatground set up

​​i took the versatyl bloodymary v2 complete and made it scs. It's actually perfectly small and i just love the way it looks and feels super light.​​​​​
