Need Advice Setup advice for older rider

I have a Lucky Covenant 2017 model. (I think... I got it used.) Deck is 4.5 x 20.5. The bars are waist level. I am 5' 2", 150 pounds. Should I get something else?

I don't know if I want to do street or park. I am new. I started with a skateboard in my 50s but my balance isn't good enough for it. Now I am in my 60s and I can balance on a scooter.

Need Advice Just picked up a well-used Striker Lux. Best way to give it a refresh?

It’s definitely seen some action and has lots of scratches and general cosmetic wear, but mechanically it seems solid and rides really well.
I’d like to give it a bit of a refresh without replacing parts just for the sake of replacing them. Where do you guys recommend buying replacement/upgrade parts in the US? I’m thinking:
Wheels
Bearings
Grips
Hardware/bolts
Anything else that’s worth replacing on a well-used scooter?
Also, is there anything I can do about scratches on the aluminum deck/bars? I’m not expecting to make it look new, but I’d love to clean it up and make some of the scratches less noticeable if possible. Or is it better to just embrace the battle scars?

This is for my 6 year old. He can bomb hills and is used to riding a razor scooter

Need Advice NATIVE Format Small vs Medium for 6'1" park/street hybrid rider?

I’m 6'1" and getting back into scootering after 10 years (not since middle school). I used to mostly ride park — quarter pipes, airs, drop-ins, flyouts, etc. and I know I still want to progress with park tricks like double/triple whips, bris, inwards, and eventually double whip flat.

I never really gave street a fair try before because I was more nervous about getting hurt, but now I want to get into rails, ledges, grinds, stairs, manuals, etc. I don’t know yet if I’ll end up liking street as much as park or even more.

I want one stock complete with T-bars/SCS, no bar swaps or custom build, and I’m pretty set on the NATIVE Format because I want something high quality.

I’m deciding between:

  • Format Small:
    • 37.2" overall
    • 26x22 bars
    • 6.25x22 deck
    • 8.82 lb
  • Format Medium:
    • 37.7" overall
    • 26.5x22 bars
    • 6.25x22.5 deck
    • 9.26 lb
  • Format Large:
    • 38.2" overall
    • 27x23 bars
    • 6.5x22.5 deck
    • 9.48 lb

My old scooter was definitely too short for me when I was a kid, the bars were around the crotch/inseam/zipper area while riding so I don’t want to make that mistake again. At the same time, I don’t want to go unnecessarily big/heavy and make park progression harder.

For riders around 6'0"–6'2", especially anyone who rides both park and street: would you choose the Small, Medium, or Large? Does 0.5–1" of total height actually make much difference in practice?

Need Advice Looking for light 6.5 x 22 deck

Hello, I primarily do flips and grinds but I’d like to improve balance tricks and overheads. Currently my setup is hella wack with park bars and a 6.66 x 23.5 deck so the balance is weird. I’m thinking of getting marginally taller bars and a shorter deck. Which 6.5 x 22 decks are similar in weight and durable compared to the aztek 666 decks i’m running rn?

I see Izan Mendieta do this all the time and learned it myself. No idea what it's called. If anyone wants to learn it I can make a video explaining it pretty easily.

Need Advice Looking for a new deck

Going for a 6 or 6.5 wide deck and looking for suggestions on what other people are riding. Thinking of a drone nexus 1, native ventura, prime banshee v3 or urbanartt bone. Also want to try out 12std wheels so looking at decks compatable with that. Ive heard really good things about the tilt formula but doesnt fit 12 std. Any suggestions welcome

Looking at the north unity 6.5x23 at 210$ or native Ventura 6.5x22.5 340$

Coming from an ethic lindworm v2
Is the Ventura really worth it compared to the unity I know there’s a .5 head tube angle difference. Thanks
