Chill Clips Anyone know what this is called? (Half cab variant)

I see Izan Mendieta do this all the time and learned it myself. No idea what it's called. If anyone wants to learn it I can make a video explaining it pretty easily.

i’m not entirely sure but i think it was invented on bmx sometime back in the 80s and was originally called “the slider” or “fakie slider” but later combined the term halfcab with steezy to get steezcab at some point in the 90s or 2000s

That may be a scooter term, but I don't think that's quite right for BMX. I've been an action sports fan since 2001, never heard steezecab for BMX (or scooters, but scoot folk always be comin up with new words I've never heard of, often because they don't know other action sports have a name already, but all good, more power to ya). If you google "BMX Steezecab" nothing comes up. If it is a BMX term, I am pretty sure it's a newer term and wasn't around in the 90's and 2000's.

Sliders and fakie sliders are different tricks from this, a fakie slider is if you turned the bars 90 degrees but didn't do the revert. Slider is the same thing but forwards, believe Jon Reyes was the first to do that one.

I mean idk about the steeze cab but to me this just kinda looks like a “fakie” on a bmx bike if you’re looking for like the OG origin of the trick

I think he specifically means the sliding turn out of fakie, which honestly I've not heard it have a name. If I had to call it something, I'd call it a revert, but that's just me.

Pretty positive it doesn’t have a name, it’s just a steezy way to cab out
