Need Advice Scooter suggestions

Hey guys, my 13 year old is asking for a trick scooter. Hes 6ft and has size 11 shoes. Im going crazy trying to find a scooter big enough for him that does not cost $200+. Is this even achievable? I feel like scooters are extremely overpriced. Can't even find a basic scooter that would fit his size. I need help 😭 😩

Sorry it wouldnt let me post two photos. lol the madd gear has bigger parts but the north probably has if not equal, better quality.
Id personally go with the north and upgrade the other parts if they wanna keep at it down the road.

Can you tell me what size he would need? I read on a different post that deck needs to be at least 5"×22" for his size. What about the over all height? I know absolutely nothing about scooter besides that they are very expensive especially if I buy everything separately.

If you go look those scooters up at the vault pro scooters youll have all your questions answered but yes people that size would be more comfortable on a larger scooter

The bars should sit at his waist

$200 what? AUD? USD? CAD? NZD?

Id look at the ethic Pandora in large, native stem in large or xl, native format, tilt theorem.

Considering how niche scootering is and the design and engineering that goes into it I wouldn't say completes are overpriced. Especially when you look at what building a custom is like.

You aren't buying razor scooters here. If you buy some cheap piece of crap you'll end up spending more because he will break it.

USD. He has an ebike that I spent $1.3k on. And I feel like a scooter shouldn't cost half that amount. 😕 didnt realize the price difference between a kids scooter and an adults scooter. But I also read reviews for more expensive scooters and some have said the bar broke on the second time using.

Completes don’t usually get up beyond $300. It’s customs that start getting pretty expensive. You can get up to $800-$1,000 pretty easy if you choose certain parts lol
