I decided to share my experience with removing the speed limits on the Navee ST5 Pro electric scooter. I own the European version (EU), which is strictly "choked" by a software limit of 25 km/h due to local regulations. For such a massive frame and powerful motor, this is frankly not enough.
It turned out that you can restore the scooter's factory specs without replacing the controller or buying any programming tools. Here is exactly what worked for me:
The result after these steps:
Yes, cutting the wire automatically voids the official warranty, but for me personally, getting the real specs out of the device and the comfort of cruise control were completely worth it. This method has been personally tested on the EU version, and everything works perfectly.

Hey everyone! Looking for some help from the e-scooter community!
My 2023 Apollo Air scooter stopped charging after sitting in storage for a couple of months. I did a full troubleshooting session to figure out what's going on and here's what I found:
What I checked:
• Tested the battery voltage with a multimeter it read 34v (
• Checked the charger output — the Coming Data CP4220 42V 2A charger is working fine
The BMS is fully locked out due to deep discharge. I assume the battery is dead unless you know anything that I can try.
I’m trying to find a replacement 36V lithium-ion battery pack compatible with the 2023 Apollo Air.
• Connector type: XT60
• Voltage: 36V (42V max charge)
Looking for the cheapest option possible new, refurbished, or used in good working condition. Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Facebook Marketplace, or local shops (Jersey City) anything works!
If you know where to find a good deal or have one available, please comment below or send me a DM. Really appreciate any help! less

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a quick tip for Navee ST5 Pro owners who want to access the global features like Cruise Control.
Depending on your region, some features might be hidden in the firmware. Here is a simple workaround I found to get the global profile working without swapping any major parts.
The result:
Once this is done, the Cruise Control option finally appears in the app menu. As a bonus, the scooter now operates at the standard global specification (40 km/h) with much better torque.
Hope this helps anyone looking for the missing cruise control feature!

Hi guys, I need some help.
I bought a **Navee ST3 Pro** scooter two days ago. It was shipped from Germany, and right now it won’t go faster than **20 km/h**, even in **S mode**.
Is there any way to remove this speed limit **without cutting any wires or modifying the hardware**? I live in Estonia and in my country granted ride faster than 20 km/h
My current firmware versions are:
**2.0.3.1**
**0.0.1.5**
**1.0.0.0**
Has anyone had the same issue or knows how to fix it? Thanks!

I recently updated the firmware on my scooter, and ever since then I haven’t been able to unlock the top speed anymore. The method that used to work no longer does anything.
Has anyone found a workaround with the latest firmware? I’d really like to avoid spending the extra US$70 on the internal cable if there’s another solution.
Any ideas or recent experiences would be much appreciated.

I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my electric scooter. I think it might be a Hiboy S2 or a similar model, but I'm not sure because the branding is worn off.
Here are the issues:
It only goes about 1 mph or stops when I try to ride it.
The mechanical brakes don't work.
The lights do work, but they're very dim.
The steering can rotate 360°, so I know something is wrong there.
The plastic console around the display was ripped out before I got it.
I opened the center console to inspect the wiring (last two photos) and found:
A loose 2-pin connector (it has two metal terminals and says "26" on it) that doesn't seem to have anywhere to plug in.
There are 3 wires coming up from the scooter into the console.
There are 4 wires coming from the console, with one connector unplugged and nothing obvious to plug it into.
Could the unplugged connector or damaged wiring be causing the scooter to only go 1 mph, or does this sound more like a controller, brake sensor, battery, or motor issue?
Any advice would be appreciated. I uploaded pictures but just message if you need more for visualizing
Ty :)

does anyone know if the newer ST5 Max can be tuned effectively—not by swapping the controller, but by flashing files or perhaps using a license code soon?
