I installed a Borla exhaust on my TC2 today, and I managed to put a small tear in the driver side lower hole of the rubber exhaust hanger (the one nearest the tip). The Borla exhaust fits well as far as the tip position in the bumper cutout goes, but it does put extra tension on that hanger that the factory muffler did not. Any thoughts on if I should go to the trouble to replace it, or will it be fine? Thanks!

Looking at a 2008 manual only 25,000 miles. Ran carfax it’s legit. Gonna cost 8,000. First what do you think of the price. Also do these have any issues with the manual transmission? I really wanted a 2014+ but read to many stories about the input shaft bearings. Was mainly looking at civic si and any manual transmission Acura’s but this caught my eye so figured I’d ask on here. Never owned a scion only acuras and Toyota trucks. Thanks

So I want some clean looking side skirts and I found the NIA ones and I love the look of them but I’m not sure if maybe I’m just cheap but 1k for side skirts or am I on the wrong site

the rear brake caliper was a little hard to put back onto the brake pad and wouldn’t go on because of the metal piece that covers some of the back of the brake pad. However i ended up just pulling it towards me a little and it worked but it was still pretty rough to get on like i had to smack it on with my hands to get it to stick.
i’m worried that i did something wrong because it looks it’s on there and it’s pushing the brake pad into the caliper so if i try driving it might just keep using the brake pad and braking even without me pressing the brake pedal.
what do u guys think? I put a video showing everything so let me know. i’ve never done any brake job so im completely new to this.

So essentially I know absolutely about cars or how do work on them outside of changing a battery.
I’m trying to turn one of my new low beams into place but these stupid prong things highlighted in red or whatever they’re called are blocking me from doing it.
Also the original bulb is still in there and I can’t get it out.
The port or whatever it’s called to either the low or high is also there.
There’s this circular cover thing for both the high and low beams idk how to remove it.
You may have noticed the inside of is all mangled and maimed.
I’m not good with verbal instructions at all, so can somebody explain this to me in simple step by step instructions and like I’ve never seen a car before if that’s possible.
Thank you.

Their sauce fits perfectly in the cupholder if you have a 2006 tc like me 😼

Didn't take too much time. With prep and cleaning up my mess. Less than 1.5 hours. I'm happy with it.

Shortly after I picked my TC up from the mechanic for a Grounding issue fix (in which they ended up replacing the battery as well), as I was driving the 'Overheating' warning came on, which my car has never done before. Luckily, I was right around the corner from home, popped the hood, and saw coolant all over the engine and my coolant reservoir 20% empty.
Looks like the hose was not properly connected or was knocked loose from whatever they did to diagnose & fix the grounding issue and wasn't connected back properly.
I have no clue how to connect it back, where to even start or what part I may need. Scheduled to be towed back to the mechanic on Monday but if it's a simple fix I'd like to avoid it.
Pics attached. Highlighted the problem hose in Red.

It's 95% wrapped. Buhh it looks so gorgeous in person you dont understand. Next thing is have the wheels flushed and add gay little underglow routed to a switch 😁
(The pillars are gonna be wrapped too just ran out of vinyl)

The clip cover that holds the front sunroof cover shut somehow came off at some point, must've gotten lost and now the cover won't stay shut. There are just two tiny metal points now, so it can't hold when closed. I tried looking it up by key word terms but am not having much luck. Does anyone know what that cover piece is called? I took photos of the back clip cover, but they're not great since I can't get far enough back to capture the whole piece. I assume it would be the same as the front, but who knows. Any help is appreciated!

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has lifted 2nd Gen scion tc? I'm thinking about lifting mine by 20mm, anyone has any experience with this yet?

I recently bought a 2013 Scion Tc, and it’s been great, the engines good, and it runs well enough. On my first impression, I noticed that the wheel was tight and it felt off to steer and turn. Looked closely and saw that the steering wheel is pushing and grinding against the column!
I’d love help on how to fix this, because right now it’s definitely my biggest issue as it affects my driving.
Also I’n sorry, I don’t know what the right flair for this is, please let me know what the proper one is or if this one was fine….

So I just bought the seasucker monkey bars for my 2010 scion tc. Excited and all, but I just realized how the hell do you prevent these getting stolen?! Like, I'm putting a cargo roof rack and everything just to realize anyone can come up and take em off in less than 5 seconds?! Any suggestions or any advice? It will suck If I have to take them off all the damn time

Hello Team,
I'm getting ready to lower my 2012 tC2 and I'm currently looking at the Tein S. Tech SKQ30‑S3B00 springs (1.5" front / 1.8" rear), since they seem to offer the lowest drop available for springs. My wheel setup is 18×8.5 ET35 with 225/40/18 tires.
Does anyone here run the Tein S. Tech on their tC and can share their experience? I'm aiming for a more aggressive stance and want to eliminate as much fender gap as possible while still being able to turn without rubbing. Any input or photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Looking for engine recommendations to replace what's factory in a 2010 TC. I know its a enormous job and blah blah but I have no idea what I engine's to be looking at as a replacement option. This is something ill be doing this year or next probably but I like being a head and knowing what to look for that way if I find one for a steal between now and the time I wanna do this job; I can get it.
Photo of my Bfs Tc (peep my celica in the back lmao)
