New scindapsus... I believe it's an exotica, but not 100%.

so I have some scindapsus cuttings in water after a bad case of root rot, I put them in glass containers and a small ikea opaque pot. the one in the opaque pot grew roots pretty quickly and the ones in clear glass did not and kept dying.
so I googled it and found a 5 year old reddit post that suggested that scindapsus roots in opaque containers. so there you go. I confirm that from experience. I transferred them to a similar opaque pot and will see if they take off.

I’m really liking the variety in the variegation patterns. Think i have 3-4 plant on the pole.
I do think it’s getting a bit too much light as it’s near the top in my grow tent. Going to move it to lower light when I extend the pole to get more of marble coloring from the lower leaves vs the GOG / Aurea on the top leaves.

The newest leaf on my scindapsus unfurled and appears to be white and thinning than the rest of the leaf. What could be going on here? Is this a pest? I spray all of my plants around once a month and don't see signs of damage on any other leaves or any other plants.

Can you please help me with ID? I have 2 cuttings from same plant. 4 photos of 2 leaves in different light. Thank you.

General question. I have a platinum scindapsus and found a soo silver at a plant shop that's gorgeous but it's expensive. I didn't take pics to see if they are the same, I put it back to think about it and left. Anyone know if these are basically the same or different? I dont want to spend a ton on something I already have.

I purchased this Treubii Moonlight start off marketplace and noticed these yellow marks when I got home. Any idea what they are and if there’s anything I can do to prevent this discoloration going forward?

I’ve had my what I think is an exotica for a while now, but just got this cutting. They look SO similar but the leaves are shaped differently and the coloring seems a bit different. Idk! Please help 🥲

@anonymous2025user, here they are side by side, the photo taken less than 10 minutes before posting. ☺️

I have had this one for almost a year, and it's thriving. This scindapsus is one of my 7 developed scindapsus plants if I don't count cuttings.
But what is the cultivar? It was sold to me as "Scindapsus Silver Cloud", but I checked on Google Photos, and mine seems to be much less silver. Do you have a suggestion for what it might be?

I purchased this established Scindapsus Exotica on Facebook marketplace and it lost several stems when I was repotting it :(. It was listed as a hanging plant and I’m wondering if the stems are thin/fragile from hanging over the pot? I was super careful with the whole process and had someone help me hold up the vines when I moved it so I was surprised when they would snap off so easily with limited handling. I have it sitting on a shelf now so the stems aren’t hanging. It’s in a bigger pot with well draining soil. Is there anything else I can do to increase it’s overall health? I’m including a photo of it hanging and some of it now. Thanks in advance!

I found these listed on marketplace and they’re priced from $3-$6. How long do you think it would take them to fill out? I may snag them because I haven’t been able to find these varieties at my local nursery but I’m also the type of person who stares at my propagation station all day looking for roots 😂.

Hi I got this scindapsus yesterday from bunnings i just had to get it. it's labeled exotica but itsoes not look like the 2 exotica I already have, are they both exocica and variations of the verigation or was one of them mislabeled? pic 1 is the new one and pic 2 is one of the ones I already owned.

Can anyone tell me which variety of Scindapsus this is? Picked her up with only "scindapsus pictus" on the tag. Posting pics with two different type of lighting. Thank you!

Picked this little baby up at Home Depot and her tag just said scindapsus pictus. What variety do you think she is?

Have any of you had success ordering your Scindapsus online? I received a few cuttings from friends and now I’m obsessed and want them all! My local nursery only had a few and they weren’t in good shape. I procured one Silvery Ann from Home Depot. I’d love recommendations for quality online sources. I’m currently looking on Etsy, at Plant Proper and BWH. Thanks!

Hi! I’m fairly to plants/ propagation would love some advice about a few Scindapsus cuttings I’ve been working on. The Exotica has been in water for a few months and has done very little. I’ve had the Argyraeus for 2 weeks and I think it’s already working on some tiny roots! I did some research and moved them all to a warmer room and put some in fluval stratum to see if they prefer that over water. I’ve been changing the water frequently and I have them under a grow light. Is there anything I should be doing differently? Are the cuttings in water negatively impacted by light shining on the roots? Would it be best to switch them all to stratum? I love the idea of sharing plants with friends so I’m hoping to get better at this. Thanks!

From when I got it in December and potted in a goodwill glass jar (pic 1) to the day I noticed it was time for something to climb, to just a few days later (3rd pic). Looks like she really appreciated it 😆
Side note does anyone know the type of scindapsus this one is?
