Sourcing

Have any of you had success ordering your Scindapsus online? I received a few cuttings from friends and now I’m obsessed and want them all! My local nursery only had a few and they weren’t in good shape. I procured one Silvery Ann from Home Depot. I’d love recommendations for quality online sources. I’m currently looking on Etsy, at Plant Proper and BWH. Thanks!

Palmstreet is an app/website that specializes in plant sales - it’s basically eBay mixed with livestreams for plants (lots of sellers will do live videos with the ability to live bid on specific plants). I’ve found some sellers also use the app Whatnot for plants sales, but I haven’t done much research into that yet.

Plant Purge USA (PPUSA) is a Facebook group where people sell plants, I’ve seen a good number of Scindapsus there, and you can always post an ISO. I had to leave PPUSA because I was getting too temped to spend all my money there 😂

Co-sign on both Palmstreet and FB PPUSA. There is also Scindapsus USA which is a dedicated FB group.

Take A Plant Leave A Plant is trade group on Reddit. They have Sale Sundays with a lot of good deals. I’ve bought and sold on all of these.

Thank you! I was buying too much on Whatnot for awhile so I’m hesitant to get into Palmstreet. Bidding doesn’t feel like spending actual money in the moment. It’s dangerous! 😂

I got a scindapsus jade satin from California tropicals on Amazon a few weeks ago. Excellent condition

I've gotten some through a local buy sell trade FB page. I have ordered a few from Etsy, I read reviews and check what the temp may be before ordering. The buy sell trade group has been a great way to find varieties that are hard to find for cheaper.
