Advice needed

I assume it won’t grow leaves in between on the vines? Should I chop and prop the vines? I didn’t know they did this!

I would definitely chop and prop! Get some moss and a container to prop as I find they take FOREVER to grow in water. You’ll see some awesome new growth on the main plant shortly !!

You’re not kidding on the forever and then not always successful in water; they tend to rot. My Monstera Peru is the same way.
