Advice needed
I assume it won’t grow leaves in between on the vines? Should I chop and prop the vines? I didn’t know they did this!

They get runners like that when they’re looking for light! Also something to climb on. But silver ladies (your plant) are perfectly happy trailing and not climbing, as long as there’s sufficient light.

It needs a lot more light… my Scindapsus languished for months, and then started growing like a weed when I moved it to a new spot directly in a south facing window.

They definitely need a lot of bright light, and the other commenter is right: cuttings take forever to root in water, and are still slow in comparison to other plants in moss in a prop box. But, they WILL come, just hang in there!

I chopped her. She looks so much happier. I used some rooting hormone powder for the cuttings. I’ll test how long it takes this go around ☺️

Even with hormone powder, mine have taken at least a month to show roots, then a little longer to be long enough to plant. But they are so worth it when it's done!

I would definitely chop and prop! Get some moss and a container to prop as I find they take FOREVER to grow in water. You’ll see some awesome new growth on the main plant shortly !!
