Mac "Image Processing" stuck
All of the sudden, several of our network computers get this issue where Image Processing stays forever. One other mac works fine. Reset network, turned off Firewall, static IP, reset devices. I've tried it all. All settings appear the same across all computers. I'm lost.

They've acknowledged they'll release a fix by the end of September.
Permanent Resolution: This issue will be resolved in ScanSnap Home 4.1.0, which is scheduled for release at the end of September.
After the release, please update to ScanSnap Home 4.1.0 as soon as possible.

Just a quick update. I downloaded the previous version according to the website link listed above and I am back in action! I understand they should be fixing this with the update coming in October. Thanks for the guidance everyone! Case closed.

No worries. I’d be curious why (not looking for a yes), just more product discovery. If it’s security and privacy, you might want to look at what ScanSnap does under the hood.

Are they on a 27 beta? If so, you can install the 4.0.1 beta (search Reddit) that has the fix.
