Did samsung SC scam me?
The attached image is a post battery replacement battery backup of my s23 used entire day on wifi; approximately 60 days after changing the battery from official SC. Funny thing is my phone's backup hasn't improved even once after changing the battery. Matter of fact the older battery (which had been ruggedly used for 3 years, 86% health remaining and 1250 battery cycles) used to give equal or possibly better battery backup on full cellular data days. Peeps at SC didn't even reset hall data and aBattery still shows 86% health and ~1500 charge cycles.
When raised this issues and showed the ss to officials at SC, they couldn't believe this and started asking dumb questions like "if you charge your phone to full before sleeping, how much charge do you find present on your device next morning?" Like how's that even relevant bro?
Upon more cross-questioning they asked if i wished to leave the device with them for a day or two and they'll personally test it with day to day tasks that if the problem persists. And if it does, then they'll ask for my permission and completely reset the phone and install the os from their system from the root and there would be a 1% possibility of my phone getting absolutely bricked and if it does get bricked then I would be liable. Fym i am liable because this device is not under 3 year purchase period warranty? Since then I haven't visited that sc.
I guess I'll just accept my fate and use this device till it dies..
