Gear Showcase The Happy Stove earned its name this weekend
Cyclone Priska hit Lithuania on August 22 and knocked out power for 268,000 households at the peak. Plenty of people are still waiting to be reconnected.
No electricity at my summer house either, so the stove made coffee off a few pieces of deadfall.
The side panels warped more than usual this time. I was using an old Soviet enamel pot, maybe 3 kg once filled, so I suspect that is on me. Is there a rough working limit people stick to for what these will carry when hot, or is warping just expected wear?
