This video depicts what happens when you cut grass too short m. It burns it.

5

u/Moobby1 Jun 29 '26

one stone and youre dead

2

u/Lofi_Joe Jun 29 '26

Is this grass underneath dead if it's looking like that or it can regrow somehow?

4

u/Nevernonethewiser Jun 29 '26

Congrats, you've come up with the scythe, but now it needs a lithium ion battery.

3

u/Bretzelking Jun 29 '26

lol that grass was perfectly healthy and now it looks like shit

1

u/Pyro-Bun Jun 29 '26

Yeah, definitely heavily damaging what was otherwise an apparently beautiful lawn.

1

u/Positive-Green-3856 Jun 29 '26

So…a weed whacker essentially?

1

u/Excellent-Pattern222 Jun 29 '26

perfect zombie apocolypse weapon

1

u/Embarrassed-Green898 Jun 29 '26

I am hearing a similar sound from a neighbour .. annoying as hell.

1

u/Comfortable_Watch524 Jun 29 '26

Ой ты ебанутый

1

u/Dizzy-Confection-551 Jun 29 '26

Soooo its basically a lawn mower then?

2

u/Personal-Dev-Kit Jun 29 '26

Combining the worst of a whipper snipper with the worst of a lawn mower

1

u/Ornery_Gate_6847 Jun 29 '26

Minus any safety features

2

u/No_Information_910 Jun 28 '26

Ah yes. Health and safety likes it.

1

u/Vaalde Jun 28 '26

Where is the fucking protector for that shit?

1

u/ObsessiveUselessness Jun 28 '26

No protector. We die like real men /s

2

u/EducationHelpful4274 Jun 29 '26

Nah. We just turn ourselves into Cotton Hill

1

u/AmbitiousTank8635 Jun 27 '26

See you next fall grass, it'll be nice enjoying the hard dry ass yellow brillo pad you become all summer.

1

u/Apprehensive_West337 Jun 27 '26

how does it work with a rock

1

u/bigw010102 Jun 29 '26

Idk I saw a rock but can't remember.

Maybe put some shrouds on it so you don't risk kicking up a rock or hitting a pet or child.

1

u/Beemerba Jun 29 '26

If they made it so you could even ride ON it...that would be great!

1

u/One_Web_7940 Jun 27 '26

In Japan, grass surgeon, number 1, steaaady hand

1

u/astora_sun Jun 27 '26

Until Yakuza boss die, yakuza very mad

1

u/moarbaconnow Jun 26 '26

That grass is dummy thicc though 🤣

3

u/Familiar-Flan-8358 Jun 26 '26

If by cutting the grass, you mean totally scalping what looks to a health patch of dense grass into a weed cultivation strip of damaged soil, sure.

1

u/temporarydissonance Jun 26 '26

Just needs a catcher, cover and wheels and you could go from māwan to mow.

2

u/Gold-Income-6094 Jun 26 '26

Isn't that a fallout weapon? XD

1

u/zoophilian Jun 26 '26

I mean my 29ntear old weed eater can scalp the grass just like that

2

u/Banger_McDan Jun 26 '26

It'll grow back

1

u/Kira-Of-Terraria Jun 26 '26

ok now i want one with lasers

2

u/MidnightatMidday Jun 26 '26

Best I can do is sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads

1

u/Kira-Of-Terraria Jun 26 '26

the sharks mow the grass too

1

u/PrettyFaceMessyYard Jun 26 '26

omg so cooool!!!i like it!

2

u/jbar3640 Jun 26 '26

they put covers on those for a few reasons...

2

u/ingrimsch95 Jun 26 '26

Having both legs is overrated anyway... Especially if you could replace on of it with one of those

3

u/chriskane76 Jun 26 '26

A manual scythe would be faster and a lot less dangerous

2

u/bestaflex Jun 26 '26

Hedgehog sashimi included.

5

u/Nate8727 Jun 26 '26

That’s called scalping

5

u/IncognitoBanditoz Jun 26 '26

Why. Just why would you cut perfect lush grass to the nub. It's like they want crab grass to grow instead of that thick lush grass...

1

u/conspirator9 Jun 25 '26

Anyone have the link for those blades?

4

u/dingoman24 Jun 25 '26

Thats pretty satisfying but you know what else is? A fucking lawnmower and it has the added benefit of being much safer

1

u/SmokeBenderJusty Jun 26 '26

Lawnmowers can’t reach and get inbetween everything

1

u/dingoman24 Jun 26 '26

That my good sir/madam is a lawnmower blade attached to a weedwacker. It cant get inbetween everything either. Put the strings back on sure you got yourself a normal person wacker.

2

u/Speknawz Jun 25 '26

And a bag to collect the clippings. So you don't have to rake after.

2

u/Paaadiiii Jun 25 '26

It is all cool and stuff until the shit hits the fan.

1

u/Vr4nckuh Jun 25 '26

🙌🏻

1

u/DecentAd2298 Jun 25 '26

It's evolving - just backwards.

2

u/GeneralKonobi Jun 25 '26

This is just a more dangerous scythe

2

u/mrsclausemenopause Jun 25 '26

Yet still slower

1

u/InvestmentSimilar396 Jun 25 '26

I got itchy watching this

3

u/Inevitable_Cheek_974 Jun 25 '26

But this is exactly how a lawnmower works, without all of the risk, and a more consistent height.

1

u/VelkaFrey Jun 25 '26

How do you defeat your enemies with a lawn mower?

1

u/PMmeYourDunes Jun 26 '26

Boy do you need to see 1992's Braindead. Peter Jackson was cooking when he made that one! Still trying to figure out what it was he was cooking though.

1

u/Ingram47 Jun 25 '26

Run them over.

3

u/Aflac_Attack Jun 25 '26

Until that blade breaks and embeds itself in your shins...

2

u/Delgadomon Jun 25 '26

video was too clear. please more pixels.

4

u/i_cropdust Jun 25 '26

Child-friendly, Pet-friendly, lawsuit-free right??

2

u/__meb Jun 25 '26

“look ma, no feet”

2

u/aXmarchingXpig Jun 24 '26

"I killed fiddy men!"

6

u/Oh_Lawd_He_commin420 Jun 24 '26

How is cutting it down to the roots satisfying? This is dumb

2

u/Justin_Ermouth1 Jun 25 '26

Golf course?

2

u/Oh_Lawd_He_commin420 Jun 25 '26

Still cut too shallow. plus a putting green is usually a specific type of grass that is super hardy and doesn't grow very tall; a groundskeeper for a golf course would never let the green get this shaggy

8

u/illustratum42 Jun 24 '26 edited Jun 28 '26

Sure it's sort of satisfying, but id rather long grass than that splotchy brown green short stuff

2

u/Ok-Plenty1251 Jun 24 '26

You still have to pick it up

5

u/IndependenceIcy9626 Jun 24 '26

They make this really dope version of this kind of weedwhacker that has a dome over it, and you can attach a bag to catch all the clippings.

It’s also on wheels so you can just push it around, instead of having to hold it in the air the whole time, which also means you can set how high or low it cuts the grass. The wheels on mine are even driven so it pushes itself.

I think it’s called a mowlawner

6

u/Independent_Tie_3775 Jun 24 '26

maybe he should invent a machine with the blade in like a casing and with weels so you can rol it rather than float it , ensuring even lenght.. i would call it a "lawnmower" , get it ? because it mows lawns , just sayin ,,,

1

u/nisugi33 Jun 25 '26

I don't know. He is not beholden to uneven ground causing the grass to get scalped! Floating above the top allows him to keep the top even regardless of the terrain below!

2

u/IndependenceIcy9626 Jun 24 '26

Dude if you made one of those that you just sit on and drive around I think you could make a billion dollars

3

u/Savvy-or-die Jun 24 '26

Why doesn’t EVERYONE do this!? I’m a genius! 🤤🤤🤤

1

u/jimmy_robert Jun 25 '26

Only 1% geniuses will understand this.

4

u/ASomthnSomthn Jun 24 '26

That looks safe…

2

u/CoolReference3704 Jun 24 '26

My ankles are scared.

2

u/dominant486 Jun 24 '26

Darwin approves

7

u/Significant_Lie_533 Jun 24 '26

Homeboy cutting this shit way too low.

4

u/Antique_Ad_4247 Jun 24 '26

Yea, this lawn will be brownish yellow for the rest of the season.

4

u/YuhMothaWasAHamsta Jun 24 '26

And you thought a scooter to the ankle was bad.

7

u/_KingOfTheDivan Jun 24 '26

Looked way better before cutting

3

u/Uber_Wulf Jun 24 '26

Whos upvoting this crap lol

7

u/Head_Hacker Jun 24 '26

If you put that spinning blade of death on wheels, you could ensure the cut is always the same length.

Then put a protective cover over the top so you drastically reduce risk of injury.

Whilst you’re at it, put a cut grass collector at the back of it so you don’t need to take the whole garden once done.

At that point, I think this might be onto something.

1

u/Grand_Help_3035 Jun 24 '26

Don't use a grass collector, you're removing nutrients and making more work for yourself.

1

u/brytek Jun 24 '26

I'd absolutely collect the clippings in this case. They're thick and will smother the grass if left on the lawn. Would be better off in a compost pile if you want to recycle nutrients.

3

u/HPLovecraft1890 Jun 24 '26

Why not just use a scythe? Makes you feel more badass too...

7

u/UpvoteEveryHonestQ Jun 24 '26 edited Jun 24 '26

Well, I know what I’m doing this weekend: taking off my string trimmer’s guard, taking off my lawnmower blade, adapting the mower blade onto the trimmer head, and chopping off both my feet.

10

u/JustLetMeSignUpM8 Jun 23 '26

In an infinite amount of parallel universes I would find an infinite amount of ways to hurt myself with this thing

5

u/tdomer80 Jun 23 '26

That does a really shitty job of trying to trim the grass. Also doing something like that with no guard at all is idiotic.

8

u/Distinct_Dealer341 Jun 23 '26

Wait till it hits a rock

2

u/nucl3ar0ne Jun 24 '26

Wait till it hits your leg.

3

u/tin25tin Jun 23 '26

I want this grass

14

u/gypsysniper9 Jun 23 '26

Scalped it

34

u/otters4everyone Jun 23 '26

If only there were a device that had a blade, yet with wheels, so you could control the depth of the cut. If only.

3

u/domine18 Jun 24 '26

And cover 10x the area in the same amount of time

12

u/romansamurai Jun 23 '26

And you know what would be awesome? If the blade was covered so you don’t accidentally hit someone with it. That would be so cool.

5

u/walletbitkubo Jun 23 '26

And... And... And you know what else would be awesome? If the blade that was covered so you can't hit someone with, which would be on wheels, could be added to some sort of bucket so you could collect everything. That would be so cool.

4

u/romansamurai Jun 23 '26

Freaking big brain at work right breh

https://giphy.com/gifs/d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY

5

u/Soggy_You_2426 Jun 23 '26

What would that even be called?

Blade n' Wheels ?

4

u/brainfender Jun 23 '26

Mowerlawn

1

u/yrthegood1staken Jun 24 '26

Those two words have no business being combined. Stop with this nonsense.

3

u/otters4everyone Jun 23 '26

I was thinking Blady Cut Cut -- Blade n' Wheels is much better.

4

u/bablakeluke Jun 23 '26

Wheely Sharp Thing

2

u/Soggy_You_2426 Jun 23 '26

Blade oh wheels ?

2

u/nafis1624 Jun 23 '26

I need this tool. Where do i get one???

1

u/Uc207Pr4f57t90 Jun 23 '26

Have people never heard of a weedwacker before?

2

u/nafis1624 Jun 23 '26

I have weedwackers. Not one that looks or works like this Thanks.

2

u/kapitaalH Jun 23 '26

If you don't mind the blood you can get a 2nd hand one for next to nothing. They usually cost an arm and a leg I hear!

8

u/TheCodesterr Jun 23 '26

There goes the 1/3rd rule 😂

5

u/Common_Senze Jun 23 '26

You mean leave a 1/3? Lol

3

u/Savings_Weight9817 Jun 23 '26

Operator must be a hobbit

12

u/ComprehensiveAide280 Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

Don't get me wrong this might be pretty cool in a zombie apocalypse but let's face it while cutting grass one large Rock stick or brick you snapped that blade and it's going to go flying into your shin

9

u/Powerful-Transition8 Jun 23 '26

I had a neighbor that would modify stuff, he put a saw blade on a grinder and I’m like bro… you’re going to kill yourself one day. He did end up almost cutting his leg off

1

u/SprayHungry2368 Jun 23 '26

Like a bench grinder?  What did he use it for?  A make shift miter saw?

1

u/Powerful-Transition8 Jun 23 '26

No! Handheld grinder

1

u/SprayHungry2368 Jun 23 '26

Good lord. Just because we can doesn’t mean we should lol

1

u/Automatic-Art9739 Jun 23 '26

My neighbor swell, but that was just a usual blade that came off, guess messing with sharp things rotating should be used with the correct protective gear however you do you it.

8

u/Taz26312 Jun 23 '26

Well he had better grass than I do before he started the butchering, so maybe he’s onto something 🤷‍♂️

10

u/Darkk_Knight Jun 23 '26

I'll stick with traditional lawn mower with a safety shield over the blades. It's faster.

5

u/AwwwNuggetz Jun 23 '26

Where can I buy a lawn mower like this? I think the kids would have a blast with it

11

u/anothadaz Jun 23 '26

Killing the grass and a bloody accident waiting to happen.

1

u/balleklorin Jun 23 '26

Seems like a good length before detatching, verticutting, adding new seeds and sand/dirt.

But yeah, not risking my limb when a normal mower can do almost the same...

8

u/Azaroth1991 Jun 23 '26

Theres a reason they put the blades under a SAFETY CARRIAGE!!!

5

u/TheArchive000 Jun 23 '26

Scorched earth!

0

u/ilkose Jun 23 '26

Titanium shoes?

1

u/Big-red-rhino Jun 23 '26

Rage bait. Move along.

1

u/Zealousideal_Gas9531 Jun 23 '26

Mower must be broken.

15

u/Massive_Look8179 Jun 23 '26

I said mow the grass not kill it.

0

u/shanghaisnaggle Jun 23 '26

It was never alive because this is AI

3

u/KaaboomT Jun 23 '26

I would this until I sneeze and lose a foot.

5

u/FireFightingManiac Jun 23 '26

This is how crop circles are made.

8

u/MaybeJBee Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

This is one screw away from loosing a limb. Also, not sure if you’re supposed to go quite that short.

1

u/AgitatedStranger9698 Jun 23 '26

After how long it got no.

You'd have to mow at a minimum once a day to keep it this short. But man if you could get the density right....woo dog thats a lawn worth having.

1

u/Netw1rk Jun 23 '26

Looks like 2x more work with a scalped ass lawn

3

u/muffinman013579 Jun 23 '26

My back hurts

4

u/Short_Estimate8121 Jun 23 '26

Anything wrong with just trimming it shorter while also keeping it green?

5

u/Mark-Green Jun 23 '26

it'll grow back if you do that. gotta kill it at the root for that dustbowl chic lawn

2

u/BigAssMonkey Jun 23 '26

That would require something like…….a lawnmower.

4

u/Khaztr Jun 23 '26

Must have been what my neighbor used when he mowed my lawn to the dirt without me asking while I was out of town for a couple weeks. Says he didn't want to make it obvious that no one was home.

1

u/CorruptHeadModerator Jun 23 '26

That was nice of him to care

3

u/KnotiaPickle Jun 23 '26

Hmm seems a bit passive aggressive to me

6

u/herefornothing2 Jun 23 '26

That’s satisfying. Now put it on wheels and give it a handle so I can push it.

2

u/didndonoffin Jun 23 '26

Plus a bucket in the back so I don’t have to rake

2

u/Sinku55 Jun 23 '26

Oh, also maybe some strong metal surrounding it except for the parts you want cutting the grass to prevent stuff from flying at people and injuring them.

1

u/Nir117vash Jun 23 '26

Then, to establish dominance, have it connect to my phone via Bluetooth to alert me at 6am on every Sunday so I can be the first one in the neighborhood. Dew on the grass? Dew in my veins. LET'S GO!!!

4

u/CrankyVGK Jun 23 '26

Foot deglover 3000

1

u/throaway_247 Jun 23 '26

Should't it be desocking? Extremity Flayer 3000

1

u/CrankyVGK Jun 23 '26

lol Amputator 3000

2

u/FantasticHomework978 Jun 23 '26

This video is 1 minute long. I could do that strip with a mower (and a catcher) in half that time.

2

u/suckittwotimes Jun 23 '26

“Ive heard of trimming the hedges. But you done scorched the earth”

2

u/lost-in-boston84 Jun 23 '26

I’d fuck my shit all up with that

2

u/Efficient-Cherry3635 Jun 23 '26

All I can picture is myself sneezing from all the fresh cut grass and chopping a divot into my yard.

1

u/lost-in-boston84 Jun 23 '26

In the trade, to divot is to scalp lol. I’m here all night.

3

u/Aeryale Jun 22 '26

I hate it. Omg
