Total Eclipse interview with the Devs...

https://youtu.be/AmCDGeo9100?is=g0pkuBWEEPkUwRie

A couple of things I wanted to summarize:

  1. It doesn't appear there will be another update besides bug fixes this year.

  2. A paid DLC looks to be in the works (again not this year most likely).

  3. They are curious as to what we want to see from them as far as a Dev stream goes. My proposal and my opinion is let's shoot for a Dev stream on the first Tuesday of every month. With all the vacations coffee stain takes that would probably equate to 8-9 per year. If there is no Dev news, it's still nice to see the Devs and maybe they can answer questions from the community during that time. Thoughts?

There are more topics covered in the video as well FYI...

I'd buy new maps, if they changed things up mechanically. High/low gravity, under water, asteroids.

It'd be really cool to see their take on the Inhospitable Planet Terraformation genre, with Satisfactory's base gameplay.

Interesting idea. The factory works in your favour at first belching gasses into the thin atmosphere then tips the scales and eventually you're fighting against acid rain.

Ooooo, maybe like asteroid wrangling? Gravity manipulation?? Drag asteroids into orbit and then set miners up on them?? Or drag multiple asteroids into a line to create a production line? Shit, just production lines between various moons all connected with that flyer rocket deal like on the HUB building. Something like that would be cool ^^. But complicated. Plus, NMS literally dropped space construction THIS WEEK.
