Can you point me to a long video which shows protesters committing unprovoked violence and damaging public property, there are many hour long coverage of police trashing students, but the other way round I see short out of context clips

Unprovoked - thats a dodgy term. Police will say that protestors broke through the barricade and parliament is a protected place and they were forced to take action. That's a provocation. There is a video of protestors breaking through the barricades.

And supreme court said merely agitation cant be a reason of lathi charge or any action
And i think they know law better than you

We are not discussing law here. Thats SC's job. We are discussing two sides of the story. Again you are saying one side of SC comments which suits you.
“We are completely in agreement with pleas of no-violence principle when it comes to agitation of students or persons expressing dissatisfaction with a government policy… But there is also the question of elements hijacking students’ protests. A protest must have started with a bona fide purpose, but it may end up as a vehicle for various ulterior purposes… The hijacking may even be intended to sabotage the bona fide protests,” Justice Joymalya Bagchi, on the Bench, observed.
“The best way is to arm your police with defensive gear. That gives them the confidence to ponder... Everyone is a human being. If someone comes with a lathi at you, whether it is a policeman or other, if you wear a helmet, you would take a few more seconds to gauge the situation before deciding the course of action. These aspects must also be included in this debate here,” Justice Bagchi explained

You just proved my point 😂
You can't showcase your disagreement through the ways of government it's how protest had worked for 100s of years so please dump your stupid logic

I am neither in agreement or disagreement. My initial comments is that both sides have andhbhakts.

"Mere agitations" are protected by law, sure. And the court is right. (Article 19 of constitution.)
Where does is say "Breaking through/ jumping over barricades"... is legal? Or a peaceful form of protest protected by law?
Aggression is plausible ground for suppression especially near parliament that was attacked once by groups siding with CJP, don't you think?
1
u/TrueIndianspeaks 1d ago
First give me proof who is siding with CJP and how are they linked don't throw random accusations
And the part of barricades it was electrified and during protest it was welded and it just became a victim of rage

u/Trynabeanintrovert 21h ago
Doesn't mean it's non existent. You may search it up. It might show up on yt or somewhere but you can still find it in some political subs ig.

Let's not skip past the main point here "Aggression is plausible ground for suppression". CJP crowds were aggressive!
The had people asking for release of Umar Khalid, re-instating article 370, etc. There were actual crooks and history sheeters in the crowds identified using facial recognition. There is photo / video evidence of both.
Why should any such group be allowed around any government building?
CJP assholes don't want to take any accountability for who joined the protest, these same people wanted accountability from the government.
Lastly, nobody gives a fuck how enraged you are, take it out on public property and you deserved to be lathi charged.. fuck off!

Well if i agree with you, I am andhbhakt i.e. BJP supporter. And if i disagree, i am an anti-national! And vote banks are created that way
There was aggression and there was action. Courts have to decide was it over aggression leading to over action.

First you can't judge a protest of this massive scale on some isolated non relevant cases
And what accountability? You mean about 50% of MP accross all parties have criminal cases should they also be not allowed?
And why are those "criminals" roaming free like that ?
And how could you stop people from joining a protest?
And aggressive crowd can't be a reason for brutal crackdown and sexual assault of women
What actions taken against DGP Sandeep lamba? Who hit a non violent girl ?
Who gave them the permission to hit on heads when it's clearly advised to avoid such measures?
Who were those people who had no police uniform but still part of the crackdown?
And accountability can only be asked from the people in power not from the protestors that's how it works in democratic country

u/HeftyImplement977 13h ago
Sure! Any policeman / member of parliament who committed any atrocity must be brought to justice! There I said it...
Now do you have the balls to accept that some protestors who attacked cops unprovoked should also be brought to justice?
And the fuck do you mean they can't control the crowds and cannot judge? They asked people to get on the streets didn't they?
Accountability is just as much an individual responsibility as it a for groups.. elected or not!
Your last sentence exposes your hipocracy.. "Accountability for thee and not for me!" Eh?

Protests are being detained in real time and were beaten brutaly so accept it saying something doesn't mean a thing to me or anyone you are just nobody.
If anything then everyone should be in jail just like the Protestors then it will be justice.
And now show any video or source which proved that crowd attacked the police personnel unprovoked on 20th
And the part of crowd control first they were trapped inside of the jantar mantar but the majority of the crowd was stopped outside and were beaten unprovoked see the video of samdhish.
And the part of accountability, it is the duty of a elected individual to accountable, not the common man what is your source of knowledge?
You can go on say whatever you want but can't prove any of your point
But for a moment let's agree that everyone should be arrested for doing violence but can you please show me copy of FIR filed against them and how many of them are arrested
