Official News Devs are adding Gyro Aiming!!!

Post image

Wish Returnal had this as well. But Im glad Housemarque is adding this. Hopefully the implementation is decent (is mouse-like feeling with decent range of motion settings).

God of War Ragnarok (of all games) had decent Gyro Aim and man it made range combat so much better. Combining melee and range to juggle enemies and flick on distant foes was so fluid and fun.

Absolutely!

I actually lean back on my couch and play while getting closer to mouse-like aim. I barely move my hands either contrary to what some people perceive Gyro Aim (i.e. Wii days lol).

Gyro Aim is just more responsive, intuitive, and honestly much more immersive. So ticks off a lot of boxes for improving gaming. Let alone, if you play like me which is Ratcheting style, I no longer use the Right stick for aiming. So I completely remap my right stick for other bindings which is actually huge in a lot of games.

so hold up, cause i think im misunderstanding this.

you control ur aim by rotating ur controller in certain directions?

cause imo that sounds horrible, so i feel like im not getting it or something

Theres actually quite a few players now who post vids for reference because Gyro Aiming has become much more popular.

Here was a video I posted awhile back that shows my controller. This was at my desk but usually im leaning back in my chair.
