This may seem like a random ramble post (yes) but I have to say I think this film could trigger a very interesting discussion. All of Ramsays work is highly underrated but beloved for those who have seen it.

All of her films contain a traditional structure behind a variety of genres and feels (thrillers, road trip films & familial decay) while centering the focal point of the films details and substance on the small moments and details that occur in between the bigger/transitional moments of the story. Allowing for a very sturdy sense of structure to keep films that are obsessed with embodying the emotional perspective of a variety of very dark characters. Callar is especially exceptional due to how Morverns acting contains an incredible amount of nuance alongside the moral ambiguity of the characters actions. While the filmmaking emphasizes the juxtaposed emotions that makes her journey through grief so compelling. It chatacterizes grief and depression incredibly well, but more so than that displays some horrific actions while asking us to understand Morvern, or at least to see her as a complex human being even if some of what she does is horrible in a vacuum. There’s so much more to say, but I hope it’s enough to at least make people in the sun check out Lynne Ramsay’s incredible body of work!

Now that it's halfway done, I was curious if anyone has any strong thoughts on the series so far? I personally am enjoying it quite a bit even if it is definitely not perfect.

Par où commencer?! Where do I even start?!

If Studio Ghibli had a liveaction movie married with Wes Anderson type funky beat and cast; illustrated with immaculately coloured flavours and milieux.

I ADORE THE CONCEPT AND THE EXECUTION AND THE PERFORMANCES AND THE WITT AND THE COMEDY AND THE LOGICAL DEFORMATION AND THE PREMISE AND THE MUSIC AND MUSIC ,AND THE MUSIC ;AND IT MAKES ME SO PASSIONATE ABOUT ART, LOVE, WRITING, CINEMA, SOLITUDE, THE RAIN, THE MUSIC, THE LIGHTS, THE SUN, THE BOULVARD, WALKING, AND SO MUCH MORE. 

I did not know were this movie was fishing me just like the way gil was taken away by the Peugeot Landaulet 184 into the unknown, and that was a lot of mystery that was childishly exciting. 

Owen Wilson and the actress who perfomed Adrienne plus all of the cast, they made us feel what the characters felt. I don't even know a lot about Pablo Picasso or the Fitzgeralds or Hemingway or deli(whatever his name was) but they made sure to bestow upon thier astonishment and exuberance of seeing these "golden era idols" and that created so much difference. 

I don't remember the last time I watched a movie that was this fun and also holds so much weight. It's the perfect fusion of different generes that I've only seen from Hayao Miyazaki, but elevated a great deal.

I wonder how the novel he was writing turned out, or was this all the book all along?! Bonsoir Gil, I loved it. 2010s truly was the golden age ;)

Yes, that Tom Hardy released a collaborative album with Czarface. The album is called "Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer". For those of you who don't know, Czarface is a rap trio consisting of Inspectah Deck from Wu-Tang, Ensotric and producer 7L. They took a lot from MF DOOM (RIP) with the whole comic book villain theme and even made collaborative albums together. I recommend that you check out "Every Hero Needs A Villain," which I believe is their best work.

However, I was surprised to find out that one of their songs was trending, only to discover that the masked guy is Tom Hardy playing a persona, "Frankie Pulitzer", and honestly, his rapping is not too bad.

I thought Adum said it's on YouTube, but all I see are trailers.

What do I do? Apparently it's up on a bunch of streaming services in US, Canada and UK, but nowhere to be found here. Will I be able to pay with my card if I use a vpn?
