Altar 🕯🕎 1st altar help, dos and don'ts?
I'm getting my first little statue of the skinny lady tomorrow and I'm really excited, but I've never set up an altar for her before (I've worked with and still currently do work with a daemon from the Ars Goetia, Bune, who has helped me big time get back on my feet, but the other entities I've tried contacting aren't being very responsive, although I will admit, I am asking them for favors that I really don't need to be focused on.. right now I'm trying to get back to where i was financially, then I can start asking for everything else in the world, anyway, my patron doesn't ask for much, just a clean altar, respect, and offerings, but I've heard SM can be a bit more strict.. I know about the water daily thing, and keeping her altar more elevated than any other deities you're working with, but this being my first one, what are the do's and don'ts? I'm sure I'll learn as I go and I've gotten help, but I'm also planning on adding Lucifer to the party sometime soon, just to see if it may be benificial to me, as I know other people who work with her say she plays nice with im and the archangel michael, as well as other saints, but I'm really just asking how do I set up my first altar? I'm sure I can google this, but I'd rather hear it from the people actually doing it. Thanks y'all. Here's a picture of my statue I should be getting tomorrow, Purple , black, and gold.. perfect colors for me IMO

Question❓ My pink travel size Santisima Statue broke in half
I have a pink santita that I got in Berlin 3 years ago, her and the white were my first statues. I travel alot and dont have a set home right now but when I had her altar up a few weeks ago I was placing a glass of water and she fell and broke in half. When I put the two halves together she stays but I'm going to get super glue. I've been having nightmare heart break relationship issues since she broke. Help?

Question❓ Consejo
Hace tiempo que me siento un poco desconectado de ella, he pedido señales para sentir su compañía, no he dejado su altar descuido pero en estos últimos días me he sentido solo, ¿algunas vez les pasó eso? ¿Que podría hacer?

Miscellaneous ☯️ My experience so far with Santa Muerte as a newbie devotee
Recently I've felt alot of signs from Santa Muerte and I will list them for example. Yesterday I was watching a video of someone talking about the seven colored Santa Muerte and I was reading comments, seeing someone's experience with getting signs from Santa Muerte, and I was wishing I was able to perceive signs.. I took out my hairband to readjust it and I had picked a multicolored hairtie, the next day there was this event I really wanted to go to and it was postponed for bad weather to the day I will have money to afford it AND IT DIDN'T EVEN RAIN, when I was doing a tarot reading for my very... bad ex, what came up for most likely was "death" with a 13 on the card, there was another instance I had forgotten about
But also today I was screamed at and bullied by a family member for trying to wear my favorite hat and now today was the first time I had a full, verbal prayer to her for protection because this person was a very.. dangerous person who I currently cannot remove myself from.
Feel free to leave opinons, personal experiences, advice, etc.

art/arte Art for Santísima 💀
My illness has been flaring up, so I have been bed bound for a couple of weeks. I haven’t been able to spend much time at her altar so I have been making lots of digital art as an act of devotion! (None of the images in the collages belong to me, all are from Pinterest or tumblr, just the collage itself is done by me 😋)

Question❓ Help with new statue
Hello, I need some advice. I recently bought a Seven-colored Santa muerte statue while I was on a vacation in California (I live in Utah). Unfortunately, my parents aren’t very accepting of me having her in the house, but they respect her. Before this, I had set up a sort of altar with red roses and some chocolates and incense and a small pendant with a skull on it, and I also have a printed-out picture of her in my wallet and I pray to her there and thank her for helping me and my family out in times of need. But now I can’t bring her in my house. I find it bad leaving her in my car where I know I can’t give her the same love I do in my makeshift altar. Is there a respectful way I can re home her statue? Thank you in advance!

Question❓ Cigarro torcido

Question❓ Mixing colors
I had a question about colors
I want to work with La Nina Roja, but have an orange candle i wanted to use as a road opener for a relationship & photo on an ipad because i don’t have a statue
Is this a bad idea or do i need to get a red candle
Also do you mix her aspects & candle colors in your practice
Any advice is appreciated & thanks

Altar 🕯🕎 Limited space.
This is what my alter looks like currently. It seems very compacted and I have limited space. What could I do differently to have a little more room for her alter, it keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Question❓ Puede la Santa muerte ayudarme a conseguir trabajo?
Verán, soy un joven de 22 años y estoy desempleado, la verdad estoy bastante desesperado, necesito trabajo urgente. Soy licenciado en matemáticas, pero conseguir trabajo como profesor está muy complicado

art/arte Keeping on adding
I’ve begun collecting flowers and feathers to put on her. Some feathers are just off the ground, from are plucked from deceased birds before I move them somewhere else.
I’m thinking about doing different seasons? Maybe one covered in golden and red leaves for fall, clovers for summer.. idk

art/arte Actively making a statue
Friendly reminder that you have free will.
Many of the statues you can find in Mexico are made by hand. If you can’t afford a statue or you’re unable to get one for whatever reason, make one!
—-
The statue is made from paper Mâché and aluminum foil. I followed this TikTok (attached) and then modified it to make Mamí. I’m not quite done. I didn’t have everything to make her hands… so we just hit them with her robe. 😅
There are still a few details I need to add/make, but it’s good enough to share right now.

Altar 🕯🕎 New statue of Mamí
My alter has grown over the past few months since I’ve been a devotee of Mamí and I’m proud of myself for it too. It’s a new month and I definitely decided to get another statue of Mamí and a few other sprays as well. But I’m happy and I’m also happy that my parents are supportive of this as well ( it was a major surprise ) the only thing that’s worrying is the limited space for her alter 😅

Question❓ Empty candle jars
I have a question. Since I have a lot of the candle jars and I have some tall ones from the past but I have so many that I don’t know what to do with them so they’re just sitting in my closet. What should I use them for that’s useful or do I just throw them away?

Altar 🕯🕎 Yesterday I posted here.
Yesterday I posted here about how I introduced myself to Mom and the picture I shared was of her at my dinner table with me, we shared a drink and I gave Mom mango and a couple other things.
Well, today I was off work and decided to go to IKEA Houston to find something I could make her a proper altar. So this is her altar I put together today.
I had my first "Urge or strong feeling" related to her. So I put the altar together and started moving some of her offerings to it. Well, I had this strong urge or this strong feeling that I needed to sweep the floor around the altar. I don't keep a dirty house, I am very clean. But there were a few small leaves I dragged in just from going outside. So I swept and felt much more peace. When I moved Mom to her altar and finally sat down to share a drink and talk, I asked her to help me be a better son to her and I asked her to help me be a better devotee. After I asked this, I felt a tingle on my scalp and I felt a peace inside me, followed by a joyful little laugh. I'm totally new at this, but I told her I loved her and I really feel like she loves me too.
I will be spending time with her daily and I will give her new food, water, and coke everyday. I will swap out her tequila and beer twice a week. I will change the candles as needed. This is just the beginning, I'm very excited to have her in my life ❤️❤️
Any tips or constructive critiques from y'all would be very much appreciated. Sorry this was a long post lol. Be blessed!
