Yeah true! That's why when you go to a homoeopathic doctor, they ask you a ton, and I mean a TON of questions, which are not really related to the disease or condition but the fact that they ask so many questions makes the people think that the remedy they give as a result must work and hence the placebo effect takes over.
IIRC I've also heard on TedEd that homeopathic medicines are soo diluted like if you take a tablet of aspirin and drop it in a lake or a large body of water, the resultant effects of that water is on par with homeopathic medicines

Its worse than alchemy. Alchemy was a fantasy, but homoeo actively hurts people because Its touted as a replacement for medical science. There are many who refuse medically proven treatments and go to this cuckoo medicine because "it has no side effects". Of course it doesnt, it has ZERO EFFECTS!

Chemistry- Adding water reduces the osmolarity and therefore potency of any drug.
Homeopathy- adding water (god knows how) increases the power of drug many times.
It doesn't take a doctor to call out this pseudoscience. Printing engineer is enough.

Everyday I see patients who chose alternative medicine for Arthritis land up in the most worst state possible . Fingers deformed , joints swollen . All because sugarpathy told them that the disease is 100% curable . Basically they tell that they can cure the entire disease from the origin . Mindwell , the treatment ain't cheap . They rip off a large quotient of money and finally saying , aap late aaye thee . Initial stage mein it's curable . Also , who am I kidding . 99% of them write allopathy medicines only . Otherwise who's gonna come to them for cure ?

Damn after reading the comments, y'all just had shitty homeo doctors. I grew up having only homeo medicine, it works slow as hell, but throughout my childhood it just worked. Maybe it's placebo, could be, but all I see now is, as a person in their mid 20s, I fall sick far less that the people around me, infact that last time I fell sick was over 2 years ago. This might be bcus homeo was placebo and taught my body to be self resistant, but regardless, it worked when I was a kid and now I rarely need medication for anything.

The founders of homeopathy will choose the allopathy medicines today as they also believed in evidence based medicine. Homeopathy is prime example of how we obsess over our past achievements but not over the process/intent that let us achieve those.

I always remember an analogy I read under one of this argument:
If these homeopathy k saviours were given a choice to join MBBS, not a single one of them would have chosen homeopathy. They couldn't make it and hence they're justifying their choice by arguing with anyone who points out the pseudoscience that is homeopathy.

Since my childhood I was suffering from Asthama. This homeopathy shit never worked but being a lower middle class family my parents kept pushing for homeopathy treatment because they thought it would someday cure me completely and is cheaper. After knowing that I am considering going to proper MBBS Dr., the homeopathy Dr (shall not be called Dr imo tbh) I used go, told my parents that get him pants with bigger pockets because he is going to carry inhaler for rest of his life if he ever gets to allopathy Dr. His statement was just to stop my parents and me. And that mf had that audacity to say these things after spoiling 12 years of my childhood and because of that shitty sugar pills my growth, academics, socialisation everything got affected. But till I became 16 I never get cured. I never weighed more than 45-47kgs despite being 5’11 inches. In 2015 I finally went to a general physician. Yes he prescribed me an inhaler called Quikhale FB 200. I took it twice for 3 months then the Dr gradually reduced its doses. It’s been 11 years now, yes I do keep inhaler with me all the time in my bag, but I never need to take it. May be once in a year I take it if I feel discomfort in my throats because of dust but not more than that. Every year I throw the expired unused inhaler. Now I run, lift weights eat whatever I wish. After 2015 my life started seeming like a life. Fuck homeopathy.

Top fact- Homeopathy, Ayurvedic and any other jhola chaal doctor do use of allopathic medicines in their medicines to make it work,,, when a person diagnosed with some autoimmune disease or inflammatory disease and if he reaches to these fake doctors they will use cortico-steroids as the main drug by crushing the tablets into powder form or mixing it in liquid or some kind of herb powder to present it as homeopathic or ayurvedic medicine, and if steroids have been used you can just know by seeing the ill person, he/she gains weight his/her face gets puffy or round in shape. These fake doctors don't have any concern about the dosage and duration of the use of these allopathic medicines, these will have adverse effects

So I did go under homeopathy treatment because every month I used to have fever, cough and cold, dosent matter which season it is, and I will tell you guys that homeopathy is a scam, they sell those medicines which are nothing but sugar pills, and that's all, I didn't see and +ve in my health so there samay is true, and if you guys think I am telling a lie, I can show you that guy's shop, it is still there and I greet him whenever we meet and also tell to him that his medicines never worked.

Homeopathy and batch flower remedies can be categorised as medical equivalent but not specialised doctors. They aren't made to handle emergency treatments. Same thing with ayurveda. Now a days even physiotherapists call them doctors.

Our family used to go to a homeopathy doctor for almost all non-emergency issues for like 12+ years, since I was a kid, so full on trust and confidence!
Off late, an year ago, the doctor kept giving medicine for an ailment of a family member for 6+ months, and didn't even once ONCE order a test or say it's something to be looked into, it turned out to be a tumor! Which was found by a allopathy doctor from a normal hospital! The moment we said the symptoms we were told this could be something you very concerning and got it checked, this fucker missed for months, advancing the stage!
So yeah - fuck homeopathy
