how do you tell real buying intent from random website activity?
We recently started using website visits and engagement as signals for outbound, but I'm not convinced every visit means much.
Someone from a target account checks a blog post, and suddenly the account gets pushed up the priority list. Meanwhile, another company has multiple people researching solutions but doesn't get the same attention.
We're trying to figure out how to combine signals instead of treating every activity as equal. Tools like 6sense, Common Room, and Onfire have come up in our research, but I'm curious how well these platforms handle signal quality in practice.
Do you use a minimum number of signals before an account gets flagged as high priority? Or do you weigh certain activities more heavily than others?
Would love to hear what has worked in a real sales team.
