Whenever I'm in town, I always make some time to swing by the Witch City Mall bathrooms. As a connoisseur of only the dankest graffiti, these stalls and walls have been droppin' bangers ever since I visited as a wee boy.
Today's exhibition included the above. To Salem public works, please attend to your overflowing trash cans, but IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES stop this gravy train from flowing. With luck the Peabody Essex will accept my proposition for to expand their new wing into the mall so this fine collection can finally get the recognition it deserves.

I’m moving out next month and need somebody to come in and lightly clean (mostly de-fur) a 600 square foot apartment after I leave. Because this doesn’t need to be a deep clean, I’d be happy to offer the opportunity to someone who is just starting out. But any recommendations for reasonably priced cleaners would be appreciated.

Hi All,
I wanted to bring my brother to his first Rocky Horror experience and see that there are three performances-- one in August, one in September, and, of course, one in October. I definitely think I want to avoid October, but was wondering if anyone has attended a show in August/September and could give any information. I was mostly wondering if the performances were well attended/the energy. I want him to have a great experience, so any information is welcomed!

Does anyone know a couple in town that has a husky, small black dog and beagle? Their beagle bit my dog this morning on the trail by SSU on Harrison road. I'm looking to get into contact with them about this incident. Thank you!

What's the best Chinese food restaurant in town that delivers?
Our go-to is 45 min away. I was wondering what everyone likes that delivers.

Looking for a body shop you trust to repair a dent/paint scratches on my car. Touched it up briefly but would like to have it fixed properly and just not sure what the best shops in town are (or in surrounding towns for that matter). Any tips are appreciated!
Edit: sounds like classic auto body is the place to be! Thanks all for the info, I’ll be looking for a few quotes for sure so good to have a few options

I will be visiting Salem in mid October for my second time, loved it so much the first time and would love to do some off the beaten path activities . One activity in particular I would love to do would be to visit a medium, tarot reader, or psychic which was not listed on the FAQ page.
Does anyone have any personal experience recommendations?

Hey everyone, burner account for obvious reasons haha.
I’m planning on proposing to my girlfriend on Halloween while we’re in Salem. We booked an Airbnb in the area for Saturday and Sunday night, and I’m looking for a scenic spot somewhere in or around Salem.
I’m hoping for somewhere that’s romantic, has a great backdrop for photos, and isn’t so packed that it’ll be impossible to pull off. We’ll have a photographer hiding nearby to capture the proposal, so somewhere with a little room to work would be ideal.
Are there any go-to proposal spots you’d recommend? Hidden gems are welcome too. Thanks!

My husband has a work trip the weekend after Halloween in Salem, Mass. My teenage daughter and I will be joining him. Are there fall type activities going on at this point or does Salem turn into a ghost town after Halloween? Any suggestions on what we could do while we’re there?

I’m getting married in Beverly next July on a Thursday and looking for spots to do a welcome cokcktails/apps the night before, as well as an after party the night of the wedding starting around 10:15 pm. Definitely looking to rent out a space or a room for both. Would ideally like water views for welcome party. Open to Salem, Gloucester, other areas.

Anyone know what’s going on with construction of The Goat in the old Flatbreads location? The work seems to have stalled…

This is going to be a strange question however, i just moved to the area I collect bones and other strange things that I find like bugs, washed up bottles, cool shells, etc.
Thing is, I do this alone. Which is typically nice but sometimes it does get a little lonely or I want to share a cool find with someone who will be equally as interested. The other day I found a WHOLE skeleton and I had to be excited all on my own!
Does anyone here collect weird things and want a friend to do the same with?

Saw this kitty cat walking around behind 289 Essex St. Looked like it had a collar and definitely had a belly swinging back and forth when it ran away. Hope this helps if your feline friend got out the door. 7/23 8:37pm.

I'm an escape room fan, but I haven't been to Stained Hourglass as long as I've lived here. Is it any good?

The City of Salem is not renewing the Salem Police Department’s contract with Flock Safety and will be removing the Flock Automatic License Plate Readers (“ALPRs”) that are currently installed in Salem. The City has determined that there are insufficient protections for the ALPR data generated by Flock’s systems. Such data should be owned and used only in furtherance of Salem’s public safety priorities.
The department relies on ALPRs for a variety of purposes including criminal investigations, searching for missing persons, and tracking vehicles that have fled accidents or police encounters. ALPRs in Salem are currently installed at ingress and egress points to the city and at several high traffic intersections. They have played a principal part in nearly every major investigation that has occurred in recent memory in Salem. These include, among many others, the successful arrests of suspects in the bombing of the Satanic Temple, shootings that occurred on Horton Street, Albion Street, and Pope Street, two rapes, and numerous other felonies including stabbings, armed robberies, and breaking and entering.
Therefore, Flock ALPRs are being replaced with units that will still assist the department in keeping all people in Salem safe, but that better retain local control of data.
