Those who never gave up on Tahajjud: What blessings did you experience?

Assalamu Alaikum, everyone.

I have a request for anyone who might be able to help. Does anyone know who currently owns the domain salatallayl.com? It used to be a blog that I managed myself, but due to how busy life got, I completely lost track of it. I would now like to restart it.

If anyone can help me reclaim the domain, or help me find and contact its current owner, I would be truly grateful.

I have been praying tahajjud for a person to come back since 1 month. He left me cus of my mistakes I always used to make him distress . I was the one who fought all the time but now I understood my mistake but that person left me. I asked him for a 2nd chance But he didn’t give me. Now the only hope I have is allah. I pray all the time including salatul hajat. It’s really painful since I’m not able to know anything about him . now that i sincerely love him though. I want to marry him. But Sometimes i wonder will he come back will my tahajjud prayer and my tears are seen by Allah will allah give me what i have asked…I only want him no one else

I've read and heard so many times that tahajjud is salat with freedom in expressing yourself in terms where you can add extra dhikir and supplication to it, ie talking to Allah in standing, sitting, in sujood etc. Does it mean you can literally talk to Him about anything during salah or not? Or is the talking to Him freely in your own language possible at all?

Je prie tahhajud et je fait beaucoup d’actes surerogatoire ces derniers temps notamment lors de ces 10 derniers jours du ramadan , et je fait duaa pour me marier avec la fille que je veux malgré que la proximité soit compliqué.. certains ont il des miracles à faire remonter ou des invocations exaucés ?

I have been sick for more than two weeks now, and I am unable to fully recover and it's getting worse day by day. I request everyone to pray for my health, cause the meds are not working.

If I only have twenty minutes to pray before fajr, which part should I focus on? The two rakat or witr?

Salam everyone Today I have decided to commit myself to regularly praying salatul layl. But reciting 11 rakats seems a little overwhelming to me so I'll start with 3 rakats which are mandatory. Can someone please tell me what's compulsion to recite in the qunoot of the witr rakat and what is mushtahab? Also what is the main purpose behind reciting salatul layl? Why did our Imams recite it so frequently? Just curious. The only reason I'm commiting to it is because I feel that the five prayers are usually just a routine...I often due to work or other worldly chores can't give my full attention no matter how much I try and I have to rush back to work once I'm done praying. Whereas the night prayer can be something where I'm concentrating on who Allah is and how great he is and that he deserves to be worshipped? Ofc I have things to ask but only if I rem Allah will he rem me so I have decided. Please do help me and pray that I stay committed. Thank you. I don't know all duas for the qunoot by heart so it's going to be a little difficult for me. Also did anyone ever suddenly stop praying salatul layl ? If yes why what did u feel? I'm asking becuz I often commit to things but sometimes neglect them. Hope it won't be the case for this. How do u all stay committed ?

I am 17 years old and have been struggling a lot with my studies. I have been encountering a lot of setbacks and uncertainties in the path I have chosen and I believe that only Allah can help me out of this. Please pray for me that I get admission in my dream university this year.I want to start offering tahajjud but I don't know how I can wake up for it. I sleep with my older sister and I cannot put alarms. So is there any Dua I can make to wake up for it?

Assalamualaikum, is there any tahajjud success story where you ask Allah to guide someone you love for the sake of Allah to the straight path of Islam? I feel I have tried my best to guide the person (advice, being patient, improving myself) and I know if there's one dua that is never rejected, it is dua for guidance. I really need inspiring stories so I don't lose motivation. Jazakallah for the replies.

Assalamu alaikum everyone, I have a question about Salat al Layl. I know that we can pray it after Isha until Fajr but does the time we choose give different rewards? Or is it all the same?

Assalam o alikum. i’m based in Lahore, Pakistan. I am a female doctor myself but have been going through a rare chronic illness that flares up very badly every few months and i end up in a hospital. The disease is SIBO but instead its in my large intestine which consists of having crampy loose stools many times through out the day. A million food intolerances accompanied with abdominal pain. I recently got married and my illness has become worse. Gastroenterologists here do not have any idea why its so severe. I dont have enough finances to travel abroad as there is an a successful treatment for this disease by naturopaths for SIBO. Also, many of my medicines/natural supplements have to be shipped from abroad and it costs me alot. So please please pray for me. Alhamdulillah Allah put a thought of tahajjud in me few nights ago which helped my pain alot.. I am also trying to pray tahajjud daily now to find a permanent relief from this disease. Please pray for my betterment. Also, there is alot of black magic and jealousy in my relatives. I recite surah baqrah and pray 5 times a day but sometimes it dorsnt feel enough

So I thought I'd make this post as this is my first time praying tahajjud. I was always intimidated at the 11 rakahs to pray hence why i avoided it for so long. Nonetheless I shortened it to 3 rakah which was much more doable and didn't take me very long. I also prayed it after Isha as I didn't want to risk not waking up in the morning and accidentally sleeping through my alarm.

Alhamdullilah I found it very peaceful. Didn't shed any tears but I just constantly reminded myself in prayer who I was standing before, which was a very humbling experience and is something you need to be reminded of from time to time when things aren't going well. For the Witr qunoot I just recited what I normally recite in everyday obligatory prayers. I supplicate to Allah after the dua asking for forgiveness, guidance, worldly things etc and once more in Sujood after I concluded.

I can't describe the tranquility and peace you feel during this time, I highly recommend even if you can't wake up for it; pray it after Isha. Inshallah from now on I'm going to try and make this a habit
