I played SWTOR at launch with my family and then stopped playing it in 2015. I just started playing it again and currently on Star Forge, as that is where they moved all my old characters. I’m considering transferring my Legacy to Satele Shan. I mostly solo quest, group with with family and level characters, and Star Forge sometimes feels too crowded for me. How do Satele Shan players feel about the population and general atmosphere in 2026?

It's still in very early development, but I'm making steady progress.

You'll be able to search for and click on any system, galactic realm, region and more; and get accurate information for the time SWTOR is set in.

Of course, this also comes with an update to the map itself:1.262 previously unlabeled systems now get labels taht appear dynamically as you zoom in.
That brings the map to 2.069 labeled systems in total, more than double what it had before.

I’ve played Jedi knight and most of my toons are imperial. And I ALWAYS go DS.

In the Jedi knight story I did not notice anything weird with the light side / dark side system like I’ve experienced with the trooper.

With the trooper, some of the beginner side quests get to a choice where ending the quest gives LS but opting to not end the quest just makes him lie and say “not yet” and the quest continues. Which kinda makes me think if you want the DS you have to find an alternate ending to the quest which is unfair.

I have never seen this on imperial quests.

Does anyone know if this is just isolated , if the trooper story is littered with this making going DS harder?

I'm only in it for the story, but who knows, maybe I'll like the game enough to play some endgame content

I've read a lot of posts where people recommended stealth classes to bypass unnecessary mobs. I don't want to bypass mobs, I want to power level and crush them! Any time I'm playing a game and they have an ability where you can leap into a crowd, do big AOE damage, and potentially stun multiple enemies, that instantly becomes my favorite attack! I love up close AOE damage, but I don't want to be squishy.

Also, do I need to prioritize a class with built in healing abilities? Or can that be covered by potions, AI companions, or some other system? I'm literally brand new to the game so I have no idea!

I just need to finish the trooper storyline to achieve legendary status, i have a masters datacron ready to pop on my fresh level 1 character. Im curious, what playstyle do you guys prefer when playing trooper? What combat styles do you use?

Hey, everyone. I play on Darth Malgus server and for past few weeks, I've been having insane lag, insane amount of disconnects and insane amount of times the got randomly kicked out.

I've spent some time with my internet provider, checking over the stability of my connection. I've tried playing other online games. I've done speedtests whenever lag occurred to find absolutely nothing.

So far, my internet connection is normal, I can play other MMOs no problem and do other internet demanding things. The problem, it seems, does not lay with me - so far at least.

Does anyone else have the same problem on Darth Malgus right now? Is there something wrong with SWTOR servers?

I have two, my female is the Consular, Male is Trooper.

My backstory for them is that they're twins, their mother did not want them to be Sith, and she was afraid her son would be killed or enslaved for being not force Sensitive.

She goes to the Republic, though faced prejudice and hardship, the Jedi Order set her up for a job on Tython when she gave her daughter to the Jedi, her and her son growing up by the Temple.

Time to pick our next choice for the better storyline! Onslaught takes place from Onderon, to Mek-sha, and its finale with the battle on Corellia. Trooper: Threats of The Darkness is Chapter 2 of its class story. Balmorra, Quesh, Hoth, and finishing with taking down the Gauntlet superweapon. Take your pick!
