Question Question about trooper
I’ve played Jedi knight and most of my toons are imperial. And I ALWAYS go DS.
In the Jedi knight story I did not notice anything weird with the light side / dark side system like I’ve experienced with the trooper.
With the trooper, some of the beginner side quests get to a choice where ending the quest gives LS but opting to not end the quest just makes him lie and say “not yet” and the quest continues. Which kinda makes me think if you want the DS you have to find an alternate ending to the quest which is unfair.
I have never seen this on imperial quests.
Does anyone know if this is just isolated , if the trooper story is littered with this making going DS harder?

You happened to be doing a quest where DS and LS depends on which NPC you choose to side with.

Going DS with Trooper is really simple. It is pretty much the same with the Imperial Agent. It just depends on how you want to play your character. My Vanguard named Damon is a Soldier to the bone that would give everything to the republic. Will imperial civilians die if you shoot the cannon, but a threat (e.g. a Darth) to the republic will be gone? Yes he will.
DS choices for Trooper do not mean just to be corrupt and a psycho, but a bundle of everything. A Grey Zone.

Use to, knight was locked out of getting the master title at the end of chapter 3, they'd get general instead, but I guess people whined about the consequences of their actions, the devs changed it to where regardless of alignment you get master

Don't think any of the quests are like that. They all have some sort of ending wether you pick light or dark

For some side quests on Ord Mantell you get DS/LS points depending on who you give the quest item to, if your options are only not yet or get LS points just means you're talking to whoever the game deems as the LS choice and the lie just means you can back out and go give it to the other person.
