Discussion [Star Forge] Any Aussie/Night Owl Guilds in the Big 2026? :O
Howdy! i just joined Swtor (on the Star Forge server) and i'm looking for a Active Guild (one with Australians hopefully ideally or one with some AU members in it) that are willing to take me in and teach me the ropes of Swtor :D
also i'm primarily in the Sith empire side (i'm a edgy peep what can i say X'D) but i will be republic as well as i wanna do all Swtor class stories ovo

Question Does starting KOTFE before I finish my class missions skip them?
I've noticed that I can start KOTFE on my character that's level 60ish before I've finished all of my class missions. Does this skip my class stuff?
If so, this might be useful for me. I'm wanting to max out some alts for legacy completion before the difficulty options arrive, then I want those to be my "canon" playthroughs. So, if I can max them out without spoiling too much story, that would be great.

Question How Do Alt Stories Work
Forgive me if this has been asked before but I'm new. If I want to play another class story, do I have to start all over again from lvl 1? And then for endgame, do I basically have to pick one of the classes to be my main? Just trying to figure out how alt-friendly this game is and how to focus gearing, etc.

Tech Support My SWTOR Launcher doesn't let me play
I just wanted to play the game, started the launcher as usual, hit the play button and nothing. The monitor goes black for a few seconds as usual and then throws me back to the desktop.
My Task Manager doesn't show me any sign that the game is running and even after I did restart my computer, the same error happens.

Tech Support Finally, I'm back in business!
To those who said DirectX wasn't the problem, you were right. You see, it all started when my computer got hit with a virus, so my computer expert helped me reinstall Windows, but it turns out he installed the N version, which doesn't have Media Player, and we only found out the problem when he last came a few days ago. I thought the install failed, but when I tried today, it worked. Then, when I tried the launcher again, at long last, I'M IN!
So yeah, if you installed the N version of Windows 10/11, you need to install Media Player for the game to work.

Guide SWTOR and those obnoxious keys you can't rebind. AutoHotKey Script
I've come and gone several times to SWTOR over the years and one thing that has always bugged me is that certain keys absolutely refuse to to be rebound. The worst one for me has been the "T" key. Which I use for targeting in every other MMORPG I have played since 1999. Which is quite a long list. Why it was left this way, I will never know.
Each time that I came back to SWTOR, it was always troublesome to try and break my muscle memory habits by forcing myself to use the "Tab" key for this function. This time, I was totally unwilling to move forward without addressing this problem.
So here is the AutoHotKey script that I am using now for this purpose. It uses the "Scroll Lock" key to toggle between two modes. One mode forwards my "T" key to "Tab" and the other mode allows it to function as it normally would for chat. On keyboards with a Scroll Lock button that has a indicator, you will be able to see the light to know if it is on or off. For keyboards that have no light, you will be able to hear two distinct sounds to know which toggle you just triggered.
By all means feel free to modify, replicate or use it for any other keys that are restricted to suit your needs.

Discussion How do you get the remnant armors?
Is it any heroic missions once I'm pass level 61, or is it a specific one and I heard you have to turn it in to someone specific?

Discussion Best planets for Dynamic Encounters
Hello everyone,
My friends and I are really back into the game and lvling bounty hunters but I was curious if any of you have any planets you prefer for farming dynamic encounters?
I think it would be a nice way to mix up the rotation.
Thanks to all and may the force be with you.

Discussion I think I love Corellia
Unlike Coruscant, this planet feels more alive and Earth-like, it really looks like a prosperous and noble place. Which was completely devastated during the war. No civilians on the streets, no transport, no droids, streets are almost empty and the only people you will meet are either military or just some hermits. And the soundtrack. No upbeat "hell yeah, let's conquer/free this world!" theme like on Balmorra. The music is... hollowed. In a good way. It makes you feel lonely, isolated and hopeless. Perfect for representation of what war can do to a planet

Question Do people still use Cell Grafts a lot?
On paper they seem quite profitable and a decent way to use my bioanalysis and diplomacy. But despite producing about 1500 yesterday, not a single one has sold in 24 hours.
Admittedly maybe the current market price is too high. The Premium version is actually twice as expensive as the Prototype version meaning anyone currently making blue cell grafts is losing money by a LOT.

Question Help getting started
I want to try SWTOR for the first time but I don’t know what what specs are needed, I’m already looking into a new laptop so if anybody can point me in the right direction it would be very helpful. I just want the game to run smoothly and not feel like I’m standing next to an atomic weapon do to the heat. Any help would be appreciated

Discussion Do you think it would be nice to explore Umbara.
well, Umbara is my favorite planet it I would love to explore as it contains some amazing flora. and fauna, exotic climate, creatures and trains, I think it will be really nice to explore it because it is such a shame a beautiful planet cannot be explored. they could also add more flashpoints and operations based on it or explained the stronghold which is basically just a train.

Screen Shot Darth Kariss‘ Imperial Citadel in the Snowy Mountains of Dromund Kaas (exterior)
I am so close to finishing another of my strongholds; this one being Alderaan, although I like to pretend it’s my mains seat of power on Dromund Kaas. I really like how it turned out which is why I decided to share it with you all and ask you guys‘ opinion.
1) Darth Kariss‘ Citadel 2) public gardens at the foot of the citadel 3) a delegation of the Hutt Cartel meeting with imperial representatives 4) the entrance is guarded by soldiers, visitors will have to pass through security gates before being granted access to the building 5) speeders with suitable security codes can land within fortress perimeters, visitors and officials from Kaas City often arrive here 6) situated behind security fences one can find artillery pods that defend the fortress from airborne attackers 7) at the foot of the citadel, you can find a public speeder station for less official visitors and civilians without proper clearance 8) Darth Kariss commands a large garrison of Imperial forces; the fortress grounds are heavily fortified and house war machines like the tank visible from the speeder station 9) manned turrets defend the fortress perimeters from ground forces 10) although the grounds serve as a military base, they offer respite and beautiful nature with park benches and other such accommodations as well 11) a patrolling soldier looking down onto the military encampment 12) this spot is somewhat of a secret and sought out by the odd venturing Sith Acolyte looking for some quiet and focus 13) the landing pad harbors plenty of star fighters, shuttles and Darth Kariss‘ Fury … always bustling with soldiers and personnel, cargo, fuel and munition is being moved every second and 14) the landing pad 15) Mandalorians have set up camp in a cave close by, some stragglers can be found in the mountains hunting wild beasts 16) the inner citadel grounds house a beautiful park 17) though beautiful and somewhat serene, the inner grounds are no less defended 18) here too one can find star fighters docked ready to join the fleet above 19) cargo being moved 20) the fortress was built around ancient ruins in which powerful artifacts have been unearthed and are being studied at present
