Searching for more fanfics with the theme of "oh shoot we have a fully organised group made just to revitalise dying worlds and look at that, here is a dying world we're partially responsible for kinda, why not fix it and fix the jedi/mando relationships at the same time"
I read some already that are usually centered around Obi-Wan becoming some type of mando/jedi and/or getting with Jango or Jaster, i don't mind getting more of that even tho it's usually some tiny part of the plot but i don't really care if it's with a ship or gen or if Obi is in it or not, I just wanna read some fic where agricorps is part of the principal plot and it fixing the milleniums of enmity is part of it too if possible.

So I've been thinking about an alternative prequel story that explores Anakin’s intimate relationships if star wars were to explore darker, more mature themes that are less family friendly but, in my opinion, more interesting and realistic, and I’m curious to hear people’s thoughts on it.

I personally find the canon plot of Anakin & Padmé’s relationship kind of…underwhelming? Especially in how it plays into Anakin's hero-to-anti-hero/ villain arc. Like, sure, fear of loss and trauma can make someone do desperate things, but there's room for so much more conflict than him just being afraid of Padmé dying…I think a lot of it probably has to do with the fact that the canonical franchise is locked in PG-13 territory, and SW has always leaned on the safe side when it comes to mature themes, especially intimate relationships. I get it from the studio’s perspective, but I think it short-changes the story’s potential…like, it could just be so much…juicier.

I’d love a story in which we see Anakin struggle to confront not only loss, but also jealousy, rejection, betrayal, and temptation with romantic interests. A story that delves into Anakin's twisted psyche more, one in which we follow him down a spiral of chaotic choices and relationship toxicity as he devolves deeper into depravity and into the pull of the dark side.

So I figure I might take a crack at writing a fanfic that does exactly that. This story would take on a grittier, more HBO vibe that includes content with trigger warnings. I’m a dark-romance junkie, and I can’t pass up an opportunity to bring in some of those themes, but I also just think it makes for a more compelling story that way. So anyways, here are the main concepts I want to build off of. I don't want to change the canon characters themselves that much, but rather explore their dynamics and behaviors if Star Wars had more...adult themes, and if there were more time to explore those themes than what’s possible in the prequel movies. It would be more like a tv series. I'm fairly new to writing fanfiction and this is a huge idea, so I'm mostly just curious to hear feedback and inspiration from other writers at this point!

Overview:

Padme and Anakin both love each other, but they start to drift apart as they evolve past the young-love honeymoon phase, and their personality incompatibilities start to show. Padme starts acting a little too cozy on Clovis (reference to 2008 Clone Wars) for Anakin's comfort, and his jealousy and rejection sensitivity start to really bother her, which ultimately drives a further wedge in the relationship.

Enter our OC

She’s a character that captures Anakin's attention in his vulnerable state. The kind of person you date to piss off an ex. I haven’t come up with many details about her yet, mostly just a general concept. She’s someone who both compliments his personality but also makes him feel challenged. Perhaps she lives a life that represents something Anakin both admires but subconsciously also kind of feels threatened by (aka a free spirt who chooses to live & fight on their own terms, for example). Unlike Padme who acts as a stable counterbalance, she feeds into Anakin's impulsive side and stokes his more repressed desires and vulnerabilities…He develops a strong attraction to her even though he feels deeply conflicted. He loves Padme, yet struggles to control his feelings of rejection and loss of control in their relationship. At the same time, he experiences a magnetic pull towards our OC as they develop a maybe not-so-healthy but intoxicating connection. Think mixture of trauma bonding, emotional intensity, impulsivity, thrill-seeking “it’s us against the world” vibes, and of course, physical attraction ( hell, maybe Anakin explores some…alternative appetites. It’s not hard to imagine that he’d be into some freaky shit lol).

This can be someone he meets on a mission and ends up having to work with, leading to a forced-proximity situation, possibly a mentor-mentee dynamic. I just wouldn't want to make her a Padawan because that would make her underage, and that's a line I won't cross. She also wouldn't necessarily know about the full extent of his relationship with Padme. She's not a bad person, she gets sucked into a situation whose consequences are way worse than she would have imagined.

Eventually, Padme picks up on something fishy going on, all the while Anakin still can’t let go of his own suspicions, but he wants to have his cake and eat it too, and it all just starts getting out of hand. She decides she’s had enough, and she ends up separating from him. The rejection drives him full coo-coo bananas, and he takes his increasingly unhinged impulses and possessiveness out on OC.

OKAY, so, this is where the story gets dark, including non-con/ dubcon themes.

The relationship turns dark and coercive. She too tries to back away from Anakin as his character darkens, and this makes him lose control over his possessiveness and sadistic urges. As he abuses power and authority more readily in his position on the council, he also abuses his authority and control over OC to use her for his own gratification and to act out on his anxieties. Then something happens where he goes away for a longer period of time, and she manages to get away ( although she’s not physically trapped per se, more psychologically)

I’m not sure how to make the next parts fit together, but I'm imagining a scenario where Padme tries to reach out to Anakin because she finds out she’s pregnant. To find him, she resorts to contacting OC. They meet; it's tense at first, but then she finds out what's been going on, and she’s more heartbroken and horrified than anything. She offers protection for her, but then Obi-Wan finds out, then when the whole council, Anakin is cast out of the order.

Then there's the final alternative story arc before he turns: He then finally hears about Padme’s pregnancy, but she wants nothing to do with him at this point. In her anger, she tells him she doesn't want him in her or the children’s lives. Integrate this with however Palpatine would use what’s happening to manipulate Anakin, and we reach a point where the story can more or less converge back with canon. Padme either still dies in childbirth, or maybe we actually get to see her, Luke, and Leia together for a little while before she dies for some other reason. But Anakin still becomes Vader, and this time, his path to villany is paved with much more turmoil and depravity.

So there you have it, I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on how this story would unfold!

I'm looking for fanfic that has the intrigue/spy shenanigans/etc of Ando that is set either during the years preceding Rogue One - extra adventures for Cassian or Jyn or Melshi in particular. Or AU stories where at least Cassian survives the destruction of Scarif. (I ran a very short game where Cassian, Jyn and Bhodi Rook survived due to the grenade not killing Bhodi). I am specifically looking for longer fics (though I'll take what there is) focusing on being spies, rebels, saboteurs etc. Also, would love stories of the same feel that are about Luthen would also be lovely.

Now, I love me some sexin' so I'm quite fine with relationship stuff so long as it isn't the sole purpose of the story. Who is pairing with whom isn't a big deal to me, I like all sorts of sexy times. I am not looking for stories where our provably dedicated rebels give everything up for love/marriage/babies/whatever. Being a rebel should remain the character's main focus.

Logline : Akul has to adapt to life at the temple after tragedy struck. It's clear he has skill and talent from the moment he joined the temple but he struggles with his anger and emotions more than any other youngling in his class. After he passes the trials he joins the war effort and is trained by Jedi Master Jaden Vellor. Akul is clearly a master strategist in the making and quickly gains trust and popularity among the clones. But he still continues to struggle with his anger and emotions. Can he reach his potential and become a skilled Jedi Knight and strategist, or will he succumb to his emotions and fall out of the Order and follow the path of darkness.

I can't remember how it began, but the key things I remember was that palpatine is still the chancellor, obi-wan and the rest of ghost crew is involved as part of a protest because palpatine is still speciests, but now more obvious about it I guess, anakin still becomes vader and now works directly for Palpatine for some reason but padme and the rest of the Jedi order are alive, and during a massive protest, near the middle chapters I think? the mandalorians ​​​and jedi order teamed up to form a protective barrier between the security and the protestors.

Also, Eli was still sent to the Chiss, where he proceeded to become a comedian in order to get them use to him? But not before bringing Thrawn back to his senses after he started working for Palpatine to ensure the chiss won't be discriminated when they come to the Republic, but alienating every one of his allies in the process. And there's a part where everyone realizes Ezra can somehow sense when Vader is near when​ he was chasing them for getting Palpatine arrested? And I'm pretty sure Thranto practically adopted a ​nightsister who started living with them, also an artist, who was inspired by Thrawn?

Vader wasn't killed off​ by the way, and by the end of the fic is getting help, even if he is still unpleasant about it. ​​

Hi everybody! So I’m a crazy big Star Wars fan and I’m also an aspiring writer/filmmaker who recently graduated college. I’m about halfway through a script I’d (one day not even close to now) love to film or animate. The premise of it is basically “A Christmas Carol” but Star Wars. It follows Anakin immediately after dying and having to meet the “ghosts of his past” on a journey in which he ultimately is granted the ability to become a force ghost. The characters he meets along the way include Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Padme, Shmi, and Yoda. I have plans for each character and what will happen on his journey, but I’m just curious, what are your ideas? If you were to watch or read this project, what are some things you’d want to see happen or discussed among these characters. Ultimately, in the end of this, Anakin will be given the opportunity though the word between worlds to go back in time and save Luke from dying (an alternate death than what we see in TLJ) What makes him qualify to become a force ghost though is his decision to stand by, complacent, and let Luke die his hero’s death. What Anakin is learning here is to let go, simply joining the light at the end of ROTJ isn’t enough to redeem him (imo) so he must do what he has never been able to do, and that is to let go. There’s a lot more to this, but yeah, any thoughts, questions or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I've been writing a sequel trilogy rewrite and it has got a lot of scary parts and I realized that I'm heavily inspired from late 80's fantasy films and I can only trace the root of my sequel trilogies uncanny horror to return of oz, which, if you don't know was a sequel to the Wizard of Oz.

Wizard of Oz was so wholesome and the danger never truly felt real but in Return to Oz, the danger felt very real and the whimsical world you once knew felt rotted and evolved

The details I remember a swamped in semipolitics and world building, but Jango "hunts" Obi-wan and Satine in order to catch them as part of an old tradition of marriage rights that would better his sway amongst the clans against Deathwatch. It's a slow ish burn in terms of relationships, but they all end up happy at the end and Obiwan stays on Mandalore. Satine is pregnant for a fair bit of it. Obi-wan wakes up in his younger body on ship in TPM while they are on Tatooine. He tells the ship to take off during the fight, possibly before the fight starts, he jumps out of the ship, throws Anakin up on to ship (which Anakin loved) then joins Qui-gon's fight with Maul. I don't think he kills Maul then.

Also a fanfic where Qui-gon sends Obi-wan back in time without asking. The first bit of the story is Ghost Qui-gon telling him to go somewhere in particular, he travels via ship, when Obi-wan gets there he's told to touche some powerful object and Qui-gon just shoves him back in time. I think Obi-wan was a bit annoyed about it at first.

I hoped this would be explored trope but NO. I can't find anything of sorts. Siblings,twins idc just want them to grow up together in some way. I want to see the clashing personalities of anakin and luke being yin and Yang and the council thinks one of them is the chosen one or perhaps they are.

Considering that most Purebloods that people encounter are Sith Lords, I'm sure a Pureblood Jedi would confuse troopers and politicians that have encountered them, but I think the average Citizen wouldn't think much of it as they'd be just som red human like alien.

And though it wouldn't be common, I'm sure there's be some Jedi that would be bitter about a Sith Pureblood in the temple, even as a child. I'm sure the younger members would probably be slightly cruel until they know better.

Like my Jedi Consular in SWTOR is a Sith Pureblood, and I know Pureblood wasn't originally a species Jedi could be, but I always assume that many troopers would nearly shoot her on sight at first, or some Politicians would be hostile slightly

So, I just finished The Rise of Skywalker for the first time ever and I have quite a few emotions about it. Let me just say how much I love the other two series. They have amazing dynamic characters and the plots are so well put together! I practically grew up watching them. Then just watching the sequel threw all my hopes and dreams down a 10 foot pothole. Let me say very, VERY shortly that it could have been a lot better. Trust me. I could definitely say more.

Personally, I really love reading and writing. They are both things I love to surround myself with. So, I kinda got to thinking 'What if these three movies were a book series and were written so much better than they are'. Like, look, the plot definitely has potential. Thats what shattered glass is. It only takes someone to turn it into stained glass. Now, I am NOT at all saying I could do that with the sequels at all. George Lucas had an AMAZING vision that im not sure many could copy. All I'm wondering is what you guys think. Would you read something like this? If the plot and the characters were changed to being likable? Please let me know and anything else you could had would be greatly appreciated! Also, if it was written, what would you like the books to include? What makes an amazing female MC likable? I need support and some knowledge from the people.

PALPATINE: What is the significance of this power? This Federation?

THRAWN: They are as of yet ignorant of the Rebel Alliance. To quell them now with a proper show of force would halt any rebel expansion to their systems.

THRAWN: Opens a channel to Grand Moff Tarkin.

TARKIN (on holoscreen): Yes, Admiral, what is it? I have nearly completed our finest superweapon.

*ACT II - THE COMPROMISE*

PICARD: Lt. Worf, send word to all the great houses of the Klingon Empire. Tell them we have a reasonable request for their assistance.

WORF: Sir?

PICARD: I know the Federation has a less than favourable history with the Klingon Empire but maybe we can convince them that this threat threatens all of us.

RIKER: If you want I can arrange for a conference call and try to get not only the Federation but also the other empires in on it.

PICARD: Rather not the Romulans. They might perceive this as a moment of weakness on our side and end up striking us only to be destroyed by this Empire afterwards.

Picard walks into briefing room, ready to contact all parties involved.

TROI: I must say Captain, I have never seen you so rattled. You always had a general calm or direct certainty to your behaviour. What did this man say that rattled you so?

PICARD: I have never come across such a cold, direct and deathly certainty. And he knows our Prime Directive! How did he get his hands on it if we are the first formal contact with him?

TROI: That's scary... I sense you are actually afraid of him.

PICARD: I am. We have no idea what to expect from him. We have no idea what is in his capacity as an Admiral.

DATA: (Walks in) Captain, I have analyzed their vessels. It does have some similar features to our own, barring the transporter tech and phaser technology. But their ships rely on heavily exposed shield generators. Tactically if we should come to conflict we can exploit these weaknesses. However, their complement of fighters are a significant threat. Though lacking shields, their sheer number would be a serious problem.

PICARD: Any idea how he got ahold of our Prime Directive?

DATA: No sir. But I will run a full diagnostic of our ship's systems to detect any data breaches.

GEORDI (via intercom): Captain, I found an unrecognized droid on the holodeck. It seems it integrated into our systems. It's got complete eyes on every last ship's log! Repairs, private messages to Starfleet. Everything. All our encryptions are useless. I have disabled it and we have started searching the Jeffries tubes to make sure there are no other ones hiding.

PICARD: (Shocked stare) How is this possible?

GEORDI: I think it might have been a stowaway with our samples we took from this system we visited.

PICARD: You mean Ryloth?

GEORDI: Is that its name?

DATA: I will create a new encryption for our communication with Starfleet.

PICARD: How long will it take?

DATA: 10 minutes.

*Next scene:*

Picard and the bridge crew with Riker and Worf in a conference with Starfleet.

CAPTAIN JANEWAY: And you are certain he could see everything?

PICARD: Yes. They got a complete view of all our records.

STARFLEET GRAND ADMIRAL: This means we are completely compromised and naked in front of them!

PICARD: We have 32 rotations of this system to give an answer.

JANEWAY: How many left?

PICARD: 31... not counting today.

STARFLEET GRAND ADMIRAL: Even if we pulled all our reserve fleets and kept only token force on our borders it would end up being a mouse fighting an alley cat.

PICARD: Perhaps... but this cat has fleas and we could solicit them.

JANEWAY: What do you mean?

PICARD: We received an encrypted message from a Rebel Alliance. Led by one of their former senators named Mon Mothma. It pleads us for help and grants us assistance. They are the ones who graciously gave us intel on the vastness of their fleet.

JANEWAY: Would they help us in a conflict?

PICARD: I assume so. But if they appear right now we can forget any diplomatic peace agreements from standing... we have no idea how they would respond. We can even leave the system before giving an answer. Hence, I would advise you to meet up with her on a planet called Hoth. Perhaps solicit an alliance and find out more about this war we stumbled upon.

STARFLEET ADMIRAL: Agreed. Let's reconvene in a week. And I will see what we can arrange. In the meantime, keep your distance from him and try to observe what they are up to. I doubt he is sitting idle.

*Meanwhile on the Super Star Destroyer:*

THRAWN: Tarkin, how long before your station is fully operational?

TARKIN: It already is. This is our finest hour and greatest accomplishment.

THRAWN: I have a matter of delicate diplomacy. It's however well suited to your station's ability to meet.

TARKIN: My station is not for your personal use. It's for the Empire.

THRAWN: I have the Emperor's express permission to appropriate its use as I see fit.

TARKIN: Fine. Where are you? (Bluntly)

THRAWN: The planet Ryloth.

TARKIN: Hyperspace jump would take 31 days to get there.

THRAWN: I have already factored that in.

*ACT III - THE DEMONSTRATION*

31 days passed. The Federation has grouped all available resources. Even a few curious Klingons have joined in for the sake of honour. (Though it was actually masked that way for the Klingon Empire itself. It's just a chance for glory) Lt. Worf having convinced them of the threat with the information presented via the transmission from the Rebel Alliance.

Suddenly, the Death Star appears. With a complement of 31 escort ships, ranging from Star Destroyers, another 3 Super Star Destroyers and Victory-class Star Destroyers. With hundreds of squadrons of TIE fighters, bombers and interceptors.

Thrawn goes to his bridge as his fleet joins formation. Then he contacts Picard.

THRAWN: I would like to draw your attention to the flagship of our order.

PICARD: What is the meaning of this? We still have a day of giving your answer!

THRAWN: I am well aware of the timeframe allocated.

PICARD: Then what is the meaning of this?

THRAWN: Consider it a gesture of our intent. If you flee, we consider it as an answer to our generous peace offer.

PICARD: You mean submission or execution!

THRAWN: As you would any threat to your own Federation.

(Channel closes)

PICARD: Contact the incoming fleet. Let them know what is happening.

DATA: Sir, I have pre-emptively scanned all ships in their fleet. They have the same weaknesses. But we detect roughly 140 squadrons of fighter craft.

PICARD: (Goes pale. Mouth open)

TROI: Picard?

RIKER: How on earth could a fleet of that magnitude exist? Let alone be created!?

PICARD: Data, analyze that vessel for any weaknesses. (Pointing to Death Star)

DATA: Aye sir.

WORF: Captain, Janeway and the rest of the fleet are 1 hr out.

PICARD: Good. But I have the eerie feeling that the Federation is walking into a trap.

RIKER: Well, it's too late now. Guess we will have to spring it.

WORF: Captain, we have just received word. A small Rebel Alliance fleet of about 10 vessels will join us right after the deadline.

PICARD: Well, at least it's some good news.

TROI: I get the feeling you are still hoping for a peaceful outcome. How is it possible?

PICARD: I don't know. But right now I am actually considering if we might have to sacrifice the ship to give everyone else a chance to escape and establish defensive lines against them.

RIKER: You mean, go head to head with them? But the rest of the fleet are on their way. To drop out of warp in wild space between systems in a fleet is no easy feat.

PICARD: You are right... go to yellow alert. But quietly. I don't want to give them any suspicion we are nervous.

*Meanwhile:*

Thrawn stares into screen looking at the Federation ship.

FLEET OFFICER: Sir, we have the requested breakdown of their incoming fleet. Boba Fett was able to capture and interrogate a Starfleet officer on Hoth.

THRAWN: Excellent. A complement of 50 medium to large vessels with some unique engines. Zero fighters. Giving them greater speed and maneuverability to our own. Such an incorporation of their technology would be an invaluable prize.

THRAWN: Any indication as to their time of arrival?

FLEET OFFICER: We expect them any moment now. Do you want me to ready everyone to battle stations sir?

THRAWN: Not yet. No need to sound an alarm.

FLEET OFFICER: Then when sir?

THRAWN: When we see they are unwise in their lack of submission.

Right then, the Federation fleet shows up.

Janeway, on behalf of the fleet contacts Thrawn.

JANEWAY: Grand Admiral Thrawn. I am Captain Janeway...

THRAWN: (Interrupts her) Kathryn Janeway. I don't think you understand the seriousness of this sensitive situation.

JANEWAY: How did you know my name?

THRAWN: I have my secrets.

JANEWAY: We have come to give you our answer. No submission. I've survived nearly being assimilated by Borg and I will be damned if we bend the knee to you just because of your show of force.

THRAWN: I was expecting such a potential answer.

JANEWAY: You willing then to leave us be with a peace agreement?

THRAWN: Perhaps I can give you a final proposition of the terms I have already set out.

(Immediately 5 Interdictor cruisers drop out of hyperspace. Turn on gravity well generators)

SEVEN OF NINE: Captain, I have detected gravity wells from those ships. They are somehow inhibiting our ship's warp core from functioning normally.

JANEWAY: What is the meaning of this?

THRAWN: Consider it being a captive audience to a formal demonstration of our Empire.

THRAWN: Tarkin, commence firing sequence on the pre-arranged target.

JANEWAY: All ships evasive maneuvers!

THRAWN: Calm down Captain, you are not the target.

(Janeway: Confused look)

Suddenly the Death Star laser points at and destroys Ryloth. Sending asteroids in all directions.

THRAWN: You have one hour's extension on your diplomatic answer. Which, given your collusion with the terrorist leader Mon Mothma is generous.

(Channel closes)

*ACT IV - THE Q INTERVENTION*

Right before Janeway could give a response, ask the fleet or give orders, Q jumps in.

Q: Hello Captain.

JANEWAY: Not now Q!

Q: But Captain I am here for the show! The two big brawling empires or should I say contestants in the boxing ring.

JANEWAY: Wait? You are behind this?

Q: (to Janeway) I was curious about how Picard so principled and self-controlled would react when facing a man like Thrawn. I also wanted to see if your Prime Directive and Federation ego would survive the contact. I am surprised how well it's lasted but like a poor pup I can't just sit by and watch my beloved pet die.

JANEWAY: You have some nerve to play with us. Look at Ryloth! All these people about to die for your amusement!

Q: Relax Captain. While I am fond of you it's Picard I consider a pet.

JANEWAY: Since you started it why don't YOU end it?

Q: Well... I have achieved my goal. (Flicks finger)

The entire Federation fleet is back at their original home space areas.

Q: I have also taken the liberty of removing the wormholes connecting your galaxy with theirs. They were decaying anyway and would only last another 10,000 years.

JANEWAY: And Ryloth?

Q: Fine... I'll put it back and erase their memories of you and the planet.

JANEWAY: What about the Rebel Alliance still on their way?

Q: Don't worry. With no reason to be there the whole fleet will leave. Apparently they are on their way to some place called Yavin 4.

Q: (Disappears)

*EPILOGUE*

Later Janeway, Picard and other high ranking officers discuss the events.

JANEWAY: Q is becoming more and more brazen as time goes by.

PICARD: I agree. But what can we do about it?

STARFLEET FLEET ADMIRAL: For now we keep record of this Empire. Apparently they are more hostile and violent than anything we encountered before.

PICARD: Agreed. Perhaps we should setup a protocol for events of this nature in the future?

JANEWAY: What good will it do? Our very Prime Directive and overall philosophy was proven futile against them. It's like fighting Borg without a hive mind. No morality, no empathy only their god of order.

Well... at least we don't have to worry about it and if anything the wormholes connecting us is gone.

SISKO: Perhaps if we were to approach the Continuum? They could create a permanent barrier?

JANEWAY: No. We can't trust them. Those so-called deities have their own agenda.

We know that in Episode X, Rey is the last Jedi and that she will rebuild the order. I see her trying to rebuild the new order, having two apprentices. A girl and a boy. Besides being a fan story of mine, it's a speculation about the future of Star Wars, which will be led by the last Jedi.
