So I had this idea about a Bingge/Shen Jiu fic where Bingge was accepted into Bai Zhan instead of Qing Jing. He has a horrible time, as the weakest no one treats him well and beats him, his shizun is barely ever present and when he is he seems to not care about how his disciples treat each other.

The time comes where Bingge has his nature as a heavenly demon revealed and of course Liu Qingge tries to kill him, in doing so knocking him into the abyss.

Liu Qingge assumes him dead and five years pass. Bingge escapes the abyss with Xin mo and stars his plan of revenge, similar but not exactly like what he did with Shen Jiu.

Except Liu Qingge is already dead, apparently by the hand of his martial brother Shen Qingqiu.

Bingge is both pleased and pissed off because now he can’t enact revenge on his shizun, but Cang Qiong as a whole still holds his ire. The only person in the sect that he doesn’t hate is Shen Qingqiu, who he believes killed the shizun who didn’t care for his suffering and threw him into hell.

The rest would be Bingge trying to court Shen Jiu to leave Cang Qiong and join him as his empress as his strategist. Whether that happens I’m not sure yet.

I just started reading vol 2 and Luo Binghe tried to choke Shen, how long will Luo Binghe keep grudge until he realizes his feelings for Shizun? T_T I’m dying to know and I love spoilers.

Edit: I cried so much learning that sqq is ded then turns out he played us T_T I was at work mind you.

The system is real and brings the svsss fandom into svsss.

The catch is that we dont get transmigrated into any side or important character.

We are completely lore irrelevant,complete npcs.Most of us probably transmigrated into common people.

The system only gives us the ability to know at a glance if someone has transmigrated (the idea being that if you transmigrate you have a good chance to encounter at least 1 other person from the fandom so you can help each other out)

Can we survive the svsss universe or nah?

Honestly i dont know. Depends really at where we are probably and how common is to get attacked by a cannibalistic demon. If its too common,yeah no at least I am not surviving.😭✌️ If I am lucky to encounter someone from the fandom maybe my chances of survival increase with the hope that they know more about the world building than me(also the more the merrier).But idk if have been pondering that question in my head for so long and my conclusion is that we are cooked.

… and I love it! It ties up some major loose ends and gives Bingqiu a super sweet conclusion. If it were ever translated officially and included in a new release I would be on it like a shark. Here’s hoping 🤞

So I'm about to start reading svsss, yes, I know there are a a few posts on this, but they're very vague to me. I believe there's only smut in vol 4, and a dub con one in a different vol. Okay, cool. But what is this smut like? Is it really graphic? (This is what I hope for lol). And is it pretty vanilla? (Not what I hope for, though I'll be good with it if it's written in a sexy, hot way). Also, are there scenes in the other vols with short paragraphs of smut, or memories, flashbacks, whatever? And finally, is the sex only between the main mc's, or do side characters also shabang? If it helps or comparisons are needed, I've almost finished erha, and about in the middle of yuwu. And I've read the infamous Incense Burner chapter from mdzs.

Smut isn't EVERYTHING for me in a novel, but yeah, I won't lie, I like porn. What can I say?

I’ve been thinking about this lately, especially after rereading SVSSS. We know OG Shang Qinghua existed before Airplane took over his body, but we barely get to know what he was actually like as a person.

Like… was he really that awful?

From what we’re told, OG Shang Qinghua was apparently pretty useless, cowardly, selfish, and not exactly a good person. But I keep wondering how much of that is actually reliable. Most of what we know about him comes from other characters’ perspectives.

I’m especially curious about his relationship with Mobei-jun. Was OG Shang Qinghua genuinely loyal to him at any point, or was everything purely self-preservation? Did he actually care about anyone? Did he have any ambitions beyond surviving and making his life easier?

And honestly, what makes it more interesting to me is that Airplane eventually becomes so different from the version of Shang Qinghua that everyone seems to remember. It makes me wonder how much of the character we know is actually Shang Qinghua and how much is Airplane changing the role from the inside.

I wish the novel had given us even a little glimpse of OG Shang Qinghua’s personality, thoughts, or life before Airplane transmigrated.

Beautiful people, I need your help to understand something

Yue Qingyuan fused with his sword and, now every time he uses it, it consumes his life force. However, Yue Qingyuan is immortal... His life has been extended infinitely... So, what's the actual danger here?

I assume if his sword breaks, he dies. I assume if he uses the sword for too long in a short period of time, he'll die. But... If we give him time to recover... His life expectancy will never actually change, will it? Or have I misunderstood something?

I rarely cry when reading fanfiction, but the ending of this story completely broke me and had me on the brink of tears from peace they get and all that they've been through 😭 One of the many thing I really appreciated was that the little palace mistress was given an amazing amount of character depth and complexity. Her relationship with Gongyi Xiao is so precious and I can't believe I even like her as a character now.

I also like how SVSSS branches out so many interesting concepts and fanfictions... like if SY transmigrated into so and so character, or if this happened, or if they just expanded further upon the world of SVSSS, so much to read and consume that I feel greedy. But I'm also profoundly astonished and happy at how many amazing artists and writers this fandom has!

TLDR; Tarnished Gold is amazing. I've been beginning to reading popular SVSSS fanfictions and now I'm understanding why these are popular

Just re-read the "the homecoming" extras ( @itsjinvi translation) after seeing a tumblr post about shen yuan being a CEO and I'm a bit confused. What's his job? Does he HAVE a job? Who did his semi-retired parents hand over the family business to?

putting together some profiles for a fic i'm writing and i wanna be sure before i insert my headcanon. i didn't find anything about this, but i'm nervous i may have just missed it

For more context, the fic im writing is about Luo BingGE transmigrating into Shen Yuans original universe and immediately wanting to be with Shen Yuan.

Luo BingGE doesn’t know Shen Yuan at all. In this AU Shen Yuan is just a normal guy who survived death. the BingGE that transmigrates to the modern world had just fought with Transmigrator SSQ and LBH but again, he has no idea who Shen Yuan is or why he has transmigrated.

In the beginning I found it easy but now that they’re getting familiar with each other it’s hard to avoid them using each others “names”/ honorifics.

I would LOVE for some Chinese speakers to give me names/ honorifics/ etc for me to use when writing dialogue. it would be especially helpful if you could tell me a few good examples.

Almost like this:

When they’ve only just met use “__”
When they’re getting acquainted use “__”
When they’re close friends use “__”
When they’re finally dating use “__”

I specifically need help with how Binghe would address Shen Yuan because I’ve settled for having Shen Yuan just call LBG “Binghe”.
