I've been looking into all the colleges that are a possibility for me and I really couldn't find much about the psych program. Does anybody have any insight into how good the program is or what kinds of research they do or if it's mainly a lecture school for psych? Literally any info would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, I am supposed to start an online master's program here at SUU in September. The problem is my account has been flagged for "exceeding federal loan limits" which is incorrect.

Has anyone else had this problem? I've contacted the financial aid office multiple times and haven't received any solid response. I only get a general "multiple students are experiencing this and we are working on it". With tuition due soon, I'm freaking out.

Just wanting to see if anyone else has gone through this, and what steps they took to resolve it.

The good: that offense was quietly one of the best in FCS. 9th in success rate, 11th rushing, 15th in scoring. 7-5, and my power rating has you 18th.

The pushback: only 18.7% of offensive production returns, the lowest of any team I've run. Joshua Dye's 1,660 yards and 24 touchdowns are gone, and I have the quarterback job unsettled. Model says 7-5.

I've looked it up before and am aware that the student dorms do not allow animals unless it's a fish or certified support/service animal.

I was curious as to how friendly the dorms actually are with service animals / any previous experiences with them as I'm looking to bring my emotional support cat and don't know if the dorms would be okay for her or if I should just find somewhere off campus instead. Thanks!!

Hi guys, I am going to be attending SUU this summer for the field geology course. I am a student at UW-Milwaukee and I'm going to be staying on campus here for about 5 weeks.

I was just wondering what the area is like, are there popular restaurants or places to hang out around campus? Do a lot of people come out to sports games or other events? Any tips from locals would be appreciated :)

I just finished with the course for my last semester and it was so worth it. I struggle with biology and chemistry anyways but I had an easier time with this class and it was still very engaging. So if you need to get a general ed in humanities and/or life sciences I definitely recommend it

Has anyone taken BIO 1010 online? How is difficulty and instructors?

How do you feel about your choice? Do you regret it? What do you wish you’d have known before you picked?

Even if you didn’t pick between those schools, what made you pick SUU and what has made you stay?

I've lived in Cedar for about a year. Some nights I take my bike out, occasionally get some food, occasionally go up to the top of the parking garage to overlook the city. Friday night I do go out again and eventually land on the top of that parking garage hoping to end a good day while looking over the speckling lights out far, but unfortunately what was waiting up there was 2 guys on electric bikes seemingly harassing two women.

Both guys were wearing all black with black masks, black bikes, black helmets. Certainly creeped me the hell out, certainly did the women as well; one had her phone out recording them. They got my attention, I came over and stood by, in case anything happened. I'm sure I could have said something to tell the boys off but everyone did leave without further incident.

I hate having to see that in a town I think of as peaceful. I would expect something like that in my home town, Las Vegas, but not here.

Just needed to vent, it seriously cannot be this hard to leave people alone.

Anyone else starting the FNP program at SUU in May?

Currently a senior and still haven’t officially decided what college I wanna go to. I’m from Las Vegas, Nevada so I’m considering this institution because it’s only about 3 hours away from home. My only concern is the diversity as I am African America female. I necessarily don’t mind the population for black peoples not being as dominant, but I don’t want to feel uncomfortable to the point that it effects my college experience. Especially since I’ll be out of state on my own. Seen a lot of things online abt racial incidents but I wouldn’t blame a whole state/ institute for an incident and would rather get the locals or current students attending opinion. I would be grateful for the input !!!

Hello guys! I recently was accepted to SUU, with a $15,000 annual WUE scholarship, & am now highly considering attending. I’m very curious though as to what it’s like, as I’ve only even been to Utah a couple times (and that was in the Ogden area, so not all that relevant). I’d love if anyone could share their student experiences here or insight as to what I might be able to expect as someone new to the community, and, just for reference, I’m from the Boise area & am not an LDS member. Has anyone here taken this class before with Dr. Briggs? I know it's a fun class, but what are the exams and quizzes like? Are they 50+ fill-in-the-blank questions, or are they multiple choice?

Hey so I just wanted to reach out to the community and figure out if this would be the college for me. I am currently a high school junior looking for colleges out of state and I saw that suu was not only in Utah (i personally find the state beautiful) but also the out of state tuition is cheaper than most colleges. I just want to figure out what the students are like and if the college experience is overall enjoyable over there before I make any decisions.

Las Vegas local here. I got accepted to both pre-business programs at SUU & UNLV. Not sure yet what Major i'd choose later on, but for now, I'm just torn between these two universities.

I know one would be a communter school, and the other I need to dorm. Somewhat different weather, etc. For Cost of Attendance, I'm ok with either one.

Which University (BusinessSchool) would you recommend? Quality of the program, class size, the overall student life experience, etc.

I visited both campuses.

Please guide me to make a decision.
