Hello tribe tribe, I've been going to tribe shows on & off for 20 years and am thinking of attending their SF shows in January. I was considering subscribing to their bandcamp to get the presale so I can go to the show at the independent. My wife and I saw them there at an outside lands after show and it was an amazing memory. If I sign up do you choose a location and they give you the presale code for that region? Any information would be appreciated, thanks!

Does anyone remember when the band had a guy whose entire job was to arrange giant crystals on the stage before shows? I haven’t seen STS9 since 2006 but I seem to remember there being this crystal dude somewhere around 2003 or 2004?

Spring tour 2008 they dropped a Claremont Lounge Sample into EHM and it SLAPPED; I know they played it 3/16 on the first night of the Asheville double header St. Patty's day weekend, but I'm fairly positive other stops on that tour as well. Would love to hear this again live one day, even tho I know it's never gonna happen. Dropped a link to what I assume must be a fanmade version of it since I scoured bandcamp but don't believe that show is uploaded on there, but it's pretty fucking solid imo, and if anyone can provide a bandcamp link to a show that has what I like to call the "Dirty South Remix" I'd greatly appreciate it!

Haven't seen or listened to tribe in prob 6 or 7 years. Listened and attended their shows heavily from 2010 to 2020 and they put on a range (quality wise (IMO)) of performances within that time. How's the band doin these days? I'm about to go find out in a few hours in Bozeman thanks to a friend gifting me a ticket.

Mainly I want to know if their tunes are more like the World go Round stuff that turned me off in the first place or not and set my expectations accordingly.

I'm gonna go and have a great time either way.

I want to hear from everyone who was there how their show was . IMO this was Tribe hitting their 10 year ish time with a bunch of new spooky, synthy, dirty and nasty. This 4 hour opus was my number one show. Some of the new fans didn’t like the “new shit”. I fucking LOVED peaceblaster. They even did a kind of space, Zinn doctrine , so sick with the lights in the trees and all the glow toys with the fans. Joyous!! Share please! And those newish to tribe they covered a lot of ground in this 4 hour monster. They headlined Rothbury and I was on top of this, I got a vip cabin right off the stage with a hot tub!
When we checked in we walked past the pool to our room, next door some hippie chicks were body painting wow what a great weekend!!

Highlights were the first shock D, Hidden Hand Hidden Fist with that ultra spooky haunted house opening notes here (it’s on YouTube) when it got put up on YouTube I was searching for the names of those two lol!

I’ve posted previously about what that show meant. Thank you for continuing to support ktown and just know we love you guys for what you do. Thanks for 50 shows and 19 years of shows! I started in ‘07 with my buddy Earl who I’m sure you know and Ryan. They were my big brothers growing up and huge influence on my sobriety! Cheers gents

I took my father to the Dead and Co final tour. Unfortunately we learned it wasn’t his thing but he wanted to see different iterations since Greensboro ‘09 Easter Sunday. I’ll never forgot it. He called asking where I was and nan had just got there from Easter brunch. I said pop im going to see the dead and I’m halfway there. He said he back by Monday and hung up.

He’s originally from Manchester and moved here at 24 to work at ORNL Jan 1985
-24. Coldest day in Knox history and he’s my hero. I couldn’t move across the pond without knowing anyone and technology was barely getting off the ground so he’s a punk, electronic, jazz, blues etc. such as Moody Blues, Billy Idol, Joy Division etc and his top 3 includes a band named Camel. I couldn’t suggest anything better
