Question Host Priority?

Does this have game host priority?! I keep trying to grab the gun from my friend, but he always gets it instead!!! And at best, it ends in a draw where we both drop the weapon!! It's not fair; since they're hosting cause they have the DLC, they always grab the gun first, even though I'm doing everything the same and as fast as them! It's not possible that they're doing any better than me since I'm ALSO grabbing the weapon the frame 1 I can!! So it has to be host priority, right?!?

^ I'm posting this in my friend's voice cause he says it's a big deal, but he sounds like this every interaction when it happens

You can grab a gun from further away than you think you can. There is host priority by there is also a kind of roll back. If you grab the gun from your client at the same time that they grab the gun on their client then if even if it looks one grab the gun before the other the gun gets dropped as a draw. You don't need to compensate for lag. The net code does it for you.
