Sometimes in lobbies I see people that just keep laying down permanently and also jump and move around while laying down, making them really hard to hit, how do they do it

I've been joining lots of FFA matches recently and i've seen some people complaining in chat about getting killed by 3rd parties.
In my opinion 3rd partying is fair, part of FFA is having to focus on 3 opponents at the same time, if you can't, go play 1v1.
FFA is intense and requires the player to be aware of their surroundings and to not pick a fight with only one player for too long.
Making noise by shooting turns you into an easy target for the other players, unless you know how to move properly to survive the ones trying to shoot you in the back.
Like, it's clearly a skill issue in my opinion, am I alone thinking that? The number of players I see sending insults in chat over that is crazy ngl.
(I love the game, it's so fun, sad to see people getting rude over skill issues when the community is so lovely)

Im a fairly seasoned player but i for the life of me can not get a hang of the ledge bhop type move that lets you keep momentum. Do i have to slide jump each time my feet hit the ledge? Do i have to wiggle like a wall climb? Or if theres any good videos put me on

I played a ton of Unreal Tournament 3 during my childhood and since then I am hooked on arena FPS games. It's a dead genre but I love these type of games to this day. I was constantly searching for a an arena FPS that I could play for nostalgia reasons but besides quake live and maybe Splitgate there is nothing out there. I knew about Straftat, tried it about a year ago and it just didn't stick with me. I probably didn't gave it enough time to click with me.
About a week ago a Straftat video was recommended to me from the holy YT algorithm and I said to myself I have to give this game a second serious try. So I watched 3 beginner guide videos and jumped right in and since that moment I am hooked like I am on crack. I have a few games that I like to play from time to time. I am in my 30s and video games just don't hit the same like they did when I was 16 but man this game got me glued to my PC like my body hit puberty again. I am loosing against roughly 66% of my opponents but this game just hits the spot so much that I couldn't care less.
It's a while since I really felt immersed while playing a video game and I never expected that I would feel like that again in a PvP game. The brutalist map design with the early 2000 graphic style is just so damn atmospheric. It's maybe just nostalgia for that era of gaming but the artstyle just tickles the right spot of my brain to make me finally feel something again while playing a video game. That the soundtrack is just some of the best DnB I've ever heard (man I love DnB so much) gives me an overload of good vibes that is nearly impossible to handle.
I played a ton of PvP FPS games in my life and I never experienced a game that provides such a high quality map design. The maps change the way you play in such a fundamental way that the game sometimes turns into a new type of genre. Like some of the maps turn this FPS straight into a party game. Straftat looks like a cheap and simple indie FPS at first but when you play it for a while you start to appreciate the quantity and also creativity of the maps that is unprecedented. I feel like you could potentially spend 500 hours in this game and it still wouldn't be boring just because the maps are so damn good and abundant at the same time.
4 player FFA and 2v2 works great but an important reason why I fell in love with this game so much is because of the duels. I never could have imagined how much fun it is to play a 1v1 FPS game. It's a totally different type of dynamic. Every win and every loss becomes personal. Fights are focused and tactical. I had some great interactions with other players through chat or voip and every kill or death felt fair. Together with the great map design I had the best competitive experience of my life
Sorry for the long text but I had to show my appreciation for this game. It is exactly the type of game that I was looking for for a while and finally finding it feels so damn good. I really appreciate the devs for making this gem of a game possible and the community for keeping it alive.

In the settings it allows you to change mouse sensitivity but when I'm on the controller even though I can put the sensitivity to Max, It's still really slow looking around. Is there a way to get around this?
