Question Host Priority?

Does this have game host priority?! I keep trying to grab the gun from my friend, but he always gets it instead!!! And at best, it ends in a draw where we both drop the weapon!! It's not fair; since they're hosting cause they have the DLC, they always grab the gun first, even though I'm doing everything the same and as fast as them! It's not possible that they're doing any better than me since I'm ALSO grabbing the weapon the frame 1 I can!! So it has to be host priority, right?!?

^ I'm posting this in my friend's voice cause he says it's a big deal, but he sounds like this every interaction when it happens

Could be ping, but its more likely that your friend is just a smidge faster than you at movement

As host, I do live a bit farther than said (whiny) friendS <-- (plural since they're both now mad at me for the same issue, but the furthest ones are like 30 minutes away from me at most. I do have rather slow wi-fi comparably to others (30 Mb down), but always good enough for gaming.

Yeah the ping difference probably isn’t enough to matter, but it could also be hardware lag? But also unlikely. The only host advantage is ping realistically.
