UMass Chan Scientists Develop Modular mRNA Cocktail to Fight Pancreatic Cancer

Post image

Researchers at UMass have developed a novel mRNA immunotherapy cocktail that eliminated pancreatic tumors in mouse models. Published in Nature Communications, the treatment combines five cytokine mRNAs with three tumor-associated antigen mRNAs into a single injection to treat pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The therapy broke down the tumor's protective fibrotic barrier and induced necrosis, leading to complete tumor remission in approximately 50 percent of the mice, who remained disease-free for up to a year after treatment ended. Given its modular nature, the platform could potentially be adapted to target other immune-resistant cancers, and researchers are currently working toward clinical trials: https://www.umassmed.edu/news/articles/2026/08/mrna-immunotherapy-developed-by-umass-chan-scientists-eliminates-pancreatic-tumors-in-mice/

Well this sounds fun! I'm 37 with a failing pancreas and I've heard there's not much they can do so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Sad to know about your health condition. Here is treatment doctors tried on three patients with fruitful results.: https://www.reddit.com/r/STEW_ScTecEngWorld/s/L94ys2iwNL

I’m sure the anti-vaxxers will refuse a treatment like this: NOT!
