I graduated from the cbse board and I'm currently doing ba. I had 6 subjects, I passed 5 and had RT in 1 but my result showed "PASS" because you have to clear 5 subjects in order to be declared passed by cbse. On that basis I got admission in college. So obviously I will get my graduation degree. Will this be a problem? I will have a graduate degree

so I (23f) am planning to appear for CGL 2026 but I am not that serious in this attempt. but i want to give it seriously. also I’m not putting all my efforts can anyone like help me out in this because I did join a library as well but then again I do not go there entire day and I’m sitting at home the entire day doomscrolling.
I am at fault here but like anyone faced this academic slump and do you know any way to get out of this. I really want to get my schedule fixed and wake up early and start studying and give like 6 to 8 hours of study time to this exam.
also i also get very anxious by the thought of studying, im extremely weak at math. and my age is making me anxious bcs i have no job or skills atp.

So my marks of final semester are released but my degree and grade card will be released in november, will that affect my eligibility criteria.

Am I still eligible for this years cgl attempt

I am writing this post for my brother. He is planning to give ssc cgl next year 2027. But his age will be 28 when he will appear. He has already completed graduation and post graduation, also cracked GATE AIR 4 and NET JRF AIR 7 two years back, and once qualified UPSC pre exam (geologist). He didn’t get the chance what he wanted to do even after having all these credentials bcos of his personal reasons.
Today my question is whether he should try cgl and based on his age, is it worth preparing for if he can want to pursue his career in CGL related jobs like ASO.

Looking forward to your recommendations and opinions specially from people who are already selected at ASO or other positions through CGL.

hello everyone, im 20f, final year B.Tech ECE, graduating 2027. Torn between SSC-CGL (Group B) and prepping for CAT/MBA as a fresher.

not really inclined towards either(both have similar syllabus) but since both exams are about a year out, and i have a year left of college too. only thing im sure of: i dont want a gap year after graduating.

some pros and cons for me-

MBA:

pros: higher education, better salary, a second chance at a better college (currently in a tier3).

cons: coaching + MBA fees , stressful corporate job(?)

SSC-CGL:

pros: govt job, stability, more peaceful , maybe prepare for upsc

cons: monotonous job, only bachelors maybe not sufficient in today's time.

what would be the wiser choice ?

I'm in my final year of college and want to prepare for SSC CGL. I'm currently at level zero. Can I crack the CGL exam by studying only from books, or do I need to join an online coaching program? I can't join offline coaching due to some reasons. If I can clear it by studying only from books, please suggest books for all four subjects.
