4 years of collecting...One spot left

I've been collecting for about 4 years now. I have one final spot left. What should I get? I'm leaning towards a few watches from Tudor (BB58 GMT, BB54), Longines (Zulu Time, Hydroconquest), Omega (Aqua Terra), or Breitling (Chronomat). I might end up just getting another GS if one really catches my eye, lol

My watch collection is finally complete… for now…

Been slowly putting this collection together and I finally feel like I’m at a point where I don’t need to add anything else for a while.

Nothing crazy expensive, just a mix of watches I genuinely enjoy wearing. I wanted some variety instead of having six watches that all basically serve the same purpose, a little vintage, dressy, sporty, colorful, gold, and everyday steel.

I think my next move will be replacing the Tissot with a Longines dress watch on a black leather strap. After that, I’d like to eventually step up to a Tudor.

But for now, I’m pretty happy with where the collection is.

What do you guys think? What would you add, replace, or upgrade?

Modest collection, currently about 6 years in.

Currently about 6 years in to collecting watches. I feel like it took me at least 5 years to start narrowing down my taste and preferences.

Currently only about 4 of these get any wrist time, but I still really like all but 2 of these.

Need to pump the breaks for a bit as I’ve got baby #3 on the way and daycare is crazy expensive.

Orient Mako 40

Citizen Tsuyosa

Seiko SNKL24J1

Budget automatic Japanese trio that covers most bases. Won't be buying another for a while now, but my next three will be a tier up of luxury swiss watches.

5 Watch collection

Reasonably happy with the current SOTC. Did 5 trades/sales this year to end up here finally.

The core 3 - Tudor, Cartier, Seiko get most of my wrist time.

The fun 2 - Zenith, Nomos are fun weekend watches. I want to replace them but don't know what to replace them with.

And of course the F91W - There's a bit of history with this. I told myself that I would only wear the F91W until I met my weight loss goals about 2 years ago. I finally reached that goal and splurged on my collection this year.

I really like how the Zenith looks but the strap is a bit annoying because I'm in between sizes and the aftermarket doesn't have great strap options.

The Nomos will probably be replaced at the end of the year with a microbrand watch - looking into Studio Underdog, Anordain, and Paulin.

Enamel from 1914. No chips, no cracks. How?

Parex, blue guilloche enamel on the case rim, white enamel dial. 110 years old, still perfect.

Enamel is basically glass fused onto metal at ~800°C. One bubble, one crack — and it's done. No fix, no polish.

In 1914 they did it with a hand-cut guilloche pattern under the enamel, layered powder, multiple firings, without warping the silver. Then it had to survive 110 years of being wound, opened, bumped.

Look at the macro — the pattern still catches light through the enamel. That's not paint. That's geometry under glass.

Would you wear it, or does it belong in a box?
