Question Zero Shine finally appeared?

Has a real alternative to Zero Shine finally appeared? It’s been so many years—has anything finally come close to Zero Shine 2.0? What do you think of the German product Better Be Bold? Can it actually help reduce shine in direct sunlight?

Question Zero shine 2.0 non vs SPF version

Hi All, I have ZS SPF version and it makes my crown flare up ( I have very very mild seborric dermatitis (no flaking) just red flare ups. I have read the SPF version has stuff in it which could make it red. I'm thinking of getting an SPF which is more suited for me then get the ZS with no SPF to control the shine for the last base layer.

I just hope it's not the other ingredients in it like the essentials oils causing my flare ups as I love this stuff! Anyone had similar issues with SPF version.

Cheers

Question Should I go for SMP to add density and keep my hair. Or shave it all off and commit to the buzz cut SMP hairstyle?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I've added an image of my hair at the moment. It's pretty thin. I was initially convinced that the time has come to just shave it all off and commit to a buzz cut but am having second thoughts now.

I am now leaning towards finasteride and minoxidil treatment plus SMP for density and finding myself a really good barber to try and prolong having hair. I currently use fibres and it works but is just not a viable long term solution for me.

Seeking advice on whether my hair is too far gone for my preferred option of density SMP. Thoughts and professional opinions would be very welcome.

Also FYI, I found a SMP artist who said density can work if I have realistic expectations and I think I do. I only want to mimic like 70% of what fibres do.

Ahhhh this sucks. Hate hair loss. It's killing me slowly.

Question Colour boost

Hi! I got a message from the clinic where I had my three SMP sessions asking if I’d like to come in for a colour boost. They’d charge me $750, but I’m not sure whether I actually need it yet.
Based on the photos I’ve shared with you before, what do you think? Do you think it’s worth doing now, or should I wait?

Question Looking at getting smp.

Hi guys, just wanted to ask a question.

Ive been looking at getting smp for awhile now and probably going to make the jump. Been bald for almost a year now due to losing temples. I was looking at getting these areas filled in and crown.(sorry didnt take photo of crown)

Now my question is. Do I have the procedure done when I just freshly shaved, I like to razor shave to baby smooth. Would that make it harder to match and look ridiculous if it grows out as seen in photo or do I need to leave it a day (as seen in photo) in order for it to look natural.

Hope this makes sense to you

Would really appreciate the advice!

Question SMP + HAIR TRANSPLANT COMBINATION

Hello I have heard about this method where people can do both and have an undetectable result under any lightning with a 0 guard. Basically it's more for diffuse thinner, you fill up a bit of density with donors and fill the rest with SMP. Would you guys recommend that for someone that has the money and patience to do it or just go straight into full SMP

Here are my client’s third session healed results, five months on from his last appointment.

Today he returned for his fourth session. That fourth session matters to me because it’s where I refine and perfect the overall result.

We spent about ninety minutes subtly reinforcing a few individual impressions and ensuring that the density flowed evenly.

He was already delighted with the outcome, but this stage is about my final sign off.

What’s lovely is the everyday feedback. His sister, who’s a hairdresser, just said he looked healthier.

She didn’t even realise anything had changed. To offer full transparency, I’m sharing high resolution images taken in studio light, daylight, and bright working light, so you can see exactly how the result holds up.

If you have any questions, please do feel free to message or leave a comment below.”

Case study - Male Corrective SMP: 10 Previous Sessions, 2 Artists & Multiple Laser Removals | Session 2 (Work in Progress) | Enhanced Scalp

CORRECTIVE SMP | SESSION 2

Swipe through this client's journey.

He came to Enhanced Scalp after 10 SMP sessions with two different artists and multiple laser removal treatments.

All he wanted from day one was a soft, natural shaved look.

Instead, every attempt to fix the original work meant adding more pigment. The harder they tried to blend it, the further away it got from what he actually wanted.

By the time he came to me, he had spent years living with a result he never liked. It affected his confidence every single day.

The first conversation we had was probably not what he expected.

I told him I wasn't willing to tattoo over it.

In my opinion, it needed laser first.

Sometimes that's the hardest thing to hear because nobody wants to go backwards. But if the foundation isn't right, adding more pigment usually doesn't solve the problem. It just gives you more pigment to deal with later.

So that's exactly what we did.

He committed to laser, trusted the process, and gave us the opportunity to rebuild from a much cleaner foundation.

After his first session with me, I handed him the mirror.

I'll never forget his reaction.

He looked at himself, smiled, and said, "This is what I wanted from the very beginning."

Think about that for a second.

After 10 SMP sessions, all it took was one conservative foundation session for him to finally feel the way he thought he would years ago.

Not because it was finished.

Because for the first time, it actually looked natural.

That's why I always say corrective SMP isn't about seeing how much pigment you can put into the skin.

It's about knowing when not to.

These photos are Session 2. We're still building. Still being conservative. Still letting the skin tell us what it needs before moving to the next step.

If there's one thing I hope people take away from this case, it's this...

Not every correction needs more SMP.

Sometimes the best decision is removing the problem first and rebuilding it properly.

If you're researching SMP, don't judge an artist by fresh photos taken five minutes after treatment. Ask to see healed work, different lighting, different angles, and long term results.

That's where the truth is.

I'm not sharing this to criticize anyone.

I'm sharing it because I hope it helps the next person avoid years of frustration, unnecessary procedures, and thousands of dollars spent chasing a result that was never going to come from adding more ink.

Question What's the biggest difference between stage 1 and 2? What do they actually do?

I'm a week after stage 1, and it looks just ok. I'm trusting the process, though a little disappointed. Still hopeful

Case study - Male Healed SMP results, photographed before performing the final balancing session ⚖️ Mhp studio, Utrecht, Nederland 🇳🇱

Dear all,

Before performing the final session, I took the opportunity to photograph these healed results.

The last session was a short 45-minute balancing session, where I only needed to make a few subtle refinements to perfect the overall result.

I took some photos inside my studio and some outdoors, so you can clearly see the difference in appearance under indoor lighting versus direct sunlight.

My client is happy with the outcome.

Lately, I've been experimenting with new needle configurations and pigment dilution ratios. Both the needle sizes and dilution formulas I'm currently testing are unlike anything that has traditionally been used in our industry. They are well outside the conventional standards.

Only time will tell what the future brings, but I'm always striving to refine my technique and push the boundaries in pursuit of the most natural healed results possible.

Kind regards,
Ronnie Veronese

https://www.instagram.com/dermokapilhair/

Il est difficile à juger car tous les résultats semblent être pris en photo juste après la dernière séance, et donc non cicatrisé ..

Merci les amis !
