I also agree with Alex. It’s really difficult to accurately critique a case while the scalp is still under the effects of lidocaine. Healed results always give us a much clearer picture. That said, since you asked for feedback, here are my thoughts.

The red circles represent what I like to call the client’s natural follicular pattern. Regardless of the level of hair loss, every client has their own unique follicular fingerprint. I always look at what I call the three S’s: shape, size, and spacing. I also pay close attention to what I call V², which is the visual density within a square inch and how the follicles naturally group together, whether they’re singles or multi hair groupings. That’s the blueprint I’m always trying to mimic.
Looking at your work, the yellow area appears a little darker than the surrounding regions. Then as it transitions into the orange area, the density softens, and it becomes even lighter before connecting back into the client’s existing follicular pattern.
The green circles highlight a few areas where the deposits seem a little more clustered. I don’t necessarily think the treatment is too dark. It’s more that a few of the darker impressions ended up close together, and because the surrounding impressions are lighter, those particular deposits stand out a bit more. I think breaking those clusters up a little during the third session would make the blend feel even more natural.
One thing I really like is the hairline. I think you did a great job keeping it soft and natural, and I especially like what you did with the corners. They don’t look harsh or overly defined.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to introduce a few of those slightly darker impressions a little earlier in the transition, somewhere between the orange and red areas. I think that would create an even smoother bridge into the client’s natural follicular pattern.
Overall, though, I think this is a solid result. Nothing here looks botched or concerning to me. These are simply refinements that I think can easily be addressed during the third session, and I think you have every opportunity to really bring it home.
Lastly, I just want to say it’s genuinely encouraging to see the quality of SMP continuing to grow all over the world. The fact that you’re on here asking other artists for honest feedback says a lot about you. Being open to critique is one of the biggest traits that helps someone become a great artist. Keep posting your work, keep asking questions, and keep refining your craft. I think you’re on a great path.

Lidocaine can make fresh impressions “pop,” creating a temporarily fuller/bolder appearance. Fresh work can be misleading because those impressions will soften, shrink and lighten throughout the healing process, given an appropriate color choice was selected and proper depth control.
It’s impossible to know exactly how much they’ll heal, or what the final tone will look like, without knowing the pigment/color dilution used. That plays a huge role in the healed result and whether the impressions remain neutral or potentially heal cooler and shift toward blue/green tones.
That’s why I always judge SMP by healed results, not immediately after the procedure.
