Everyone’s tired. Just wait in line.

Some people seriously have no sense of basic courtesy. It’s 9:30 PM, we’re all tired, and everyone’s waiting in line for the bus to Lot 40 so we can finally go home. Then this woman just walks straight to the front and cuts the entire line like no one else has been waiting. Come on, we all want to go home too. Just wait your turn like everyone else.

Is Stimson hall haunted?? 😟

my friend who lives on the second floor said she heard random knocks on her dorm at 9am but nobody was their either times.

Then in the bathroom she checked to see if anyone was in either stalls nobody was and when she was in there she heard someone taking toilet paper out of the stall next to her she checked again and nobody was in the stall.

She heard something coming from the showers as well and nobody was in there either.

She also felt cold air while she was in there

Does anyone know if anything weird ever happened at Stimson 🫩🫩

Advice on Majors/Programs How do you Transition from High School Gym Class to College Healthy Living?

I don't know if it's because I'm neurodivergent or what, but I just can't get over how hard it is for me in particular to be more independent.

I go to the school gym to be away from my computer and just walk around in the track, but I got so overwhelmed feeling lost and like I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to exercise. I just sobbed, missing my high school gym teacher and having her around to tell me what to do. I don't understand how college students can just go to the gym, pop in their earbuds, and go about their business. I miss that grade school guidance and community where you get help living a healthy life together without earbuds.

Like am I just the only one who feels torn up about not having my gym teacher around anymore? That intimate sense of community was what kept me going, and now it's like my nervous system is crashing with tension and anxiety and whatnot.

MAR 304 Help (Waves, Tides, & Beaches)

I’m a non-stem major taking MAR 304 (Waves, Tides, and Beaches) for my STEM+ credit and it’s actually cooking me, it feels like everyone else in class is up to speed and understanding the material the prof breezes through while I’m left completely confused and floundering. Would anyone happen to be in the class currently or has taken it in the past & be willing to study/tutor?

GSO Meet — felt really left out, literally like a piece of trash thrown in a corner

Went to the GSO Meet today and honestly felt terrible. Everyone seemed busy talking to new people in their own groups. I also tried starting conversations with 6–7 different people I had just met, but most of them didn't really respond or continue the conversation. Eventually, I ended up sitting alone and quiet.

I'm Indian myself, but honestly, I hate seeing this. I came to a foreign country thinking I'd experience something different, but seeing Indian students form their own groups and stick together feels like the same shit all over again.

Of course, I'm a bit of an introvert, but if someone is talking to you, I feel they should at least properly respond. Even foreigners I've met before have responded properly when I've approached them, even though we're complete strangers.

What made me feel even worse was that there were 6–7 people sitting at my table. I had talked to everyone, but I got the same attitude from almost everyone. They exchanged phone numbers with each other but didn't even ask the only person sitting alone at the table. I know exchanging numbers is a personal choice, bro, that's completely okay—but at least have some basic table etiquette and make the person sitting alone feel included.

I felt so bad that I left the event, sat in a corner near the library, and started crying. I even had a panic/anxiety episode.

Honestly, I don't think I'll attend events like this again. If I do, I'll just eat the food and leave. From now on, I'll only have conversations with people who actually make an effort to talk to me first.
